Im at a work site & Ordered for my employees from this place & recieved the food & drink with no spoon no fork no napkins no straws no salsas for 6 pollo bowls & 6 drinks. Unacceptable!

Prices are expensive, but the communication through the speaker was very low, I had to go to the front window to finish my order, the gentleman was nice that took my order though, but for the price you pay for a piece of chicken is over priced by far especially for a quesadilla?

Warning: The size of the double chicken tostada has been reduced considerably.Pollo Loco is one of the places I regularly looked for to grab my lunch. I haven't eaten it for months and today I'm disappointed and not because of the flavor, which I like despite it being a fairly dry chicken, but because they have reduced the size of the tostada shell. It used to be way bigger! This proves that certain restaurants are doing very badly financially, like I am.Warning: The size of the double chicken tostada has been reduced considerably.Pollo Loco is one of the places I regularly looked for to grab my lunch. To the cooks at this location on 12/16/2023 around 4:30pm. That was the best chicken/food my wife and I have ever had at an El Pollo Loco!

The girl in the front Jackie has excellent customer service skills, everytime I come here for my lunch I see her and she has so much patience to the customers. I don't think she will receive as much recognition but it's worth a shot, even when dealing with the difficult customers who come in here ? Food is also great, always gives me energy for the rest of the day.

Skip this place and drive ten minutes further to the other location in Pomona, I can't believe I'm saying that. This location is the worst, they just close whenever they want and lock the door to walk in often based on not only my experiences but other people's experiences as well. It's not even in a bad area, the staff are often rude and not helpful. Placed an order for a family meal around 7:30pm (this location is on the way to my family's house and don't live around here) and instinctively went to the drive thru because I figured they're gonna lock the doors and pretend they can't see you from behind the counter of you try to walk in after dark. The location isn't supposed to close their dining room until 9pm based on their posted business hours. I get to the speaker and the light board is off, wait a few minutes and drive up to the window. There is a bunch of hastily written and barely legible signs all over the boards and windows. An employee walks up and opens the window and says they're closed, we closed at 7pm. I asked why, she said we've been slow all day and the owner said to close. I told them I placed an order online and was there to pick up, she said they closed their systems hours ago so she can't do anything for me. Okay, then why not close your online order systems? I can see more cars pulling in behind me now. I asked what they could do for me now and was told you can back tomorrow and we'll make your food then. Forget the fact I got a hungry family waiting on me right now I guess, I then asked for a refund. She said she couldn't do anything because they closed their registers hours ago and I could call corporate if I wanted to. The car behind me then yelled out "hey, why are you closed?!" This location in located in a busy plaza with a supermarket and a shopping complex next door. So now I have to drive back out here and get a refund tomorrow I guess. Ended up getting pizza in the plaza next door, would gladly give my business elsewhere. If this is a franchise, I really don't how they're still in business. If so this franchisee probably won't be around much longer. The service here is always terrible and I should of known better to place an order here. I would warn you to stay away from this El Pollo Loco and go to the other location a few minutes north from here, I know that El Pollo Loco isn't really this bad nationwide. Honestly, if I could I would give zero stars for this review.

If you asked me before this last encounter what my favorite chain was, I would say El pollo loco. I eat it all the time. After getting food from this Pomona location , I'm so grossed out and can't say that I will eat El pollo loco anymore. This was my first time at this location (drive thru), and the first thing I noticed was a fly on the window inside. Then I realized it was not just 1 fly. I saw a bunch of flies crawling on the cups and the drive thru window. I can't even imagine what was going on near the food. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, so of course I took pictures. After leaving, I called the store to let them know what I saw. The manager said they were aware of the issue and had called pest control that morning. This is a huge red flag!! To call pest control means there's a bigger problem than just the flies at the drive thru. We all know how dirty flies are and to have them in our food and cups? Gross! I also called El pollo loco corporate and they took my complaint. I also told them that those cups needed to be thrown away and there was a possibility of food contamination. I still haven't heard back from El pollo loco even though they told me they would get back to me. Needless to say, I tossed the food in the trash. This whole encounter screams health code violation.

This particular El Pollo Loco was terrible. First time I've ever had a bad experience. From the moment we walked in the door. My food, a double pollo bowl was practically non existent. I spoke with who I thought was the manager, she just showed me the scoop they use to dish up the chicken. It was tiny! Not like I've had in the past! The bits and pieces of cold dry chicken was awful! I said it wasn't double, they didn't care! I should've asked for my money back!
