J Sushi & Ramen is tucked away towards the back of the Pomona Ranch Plaza. It's a small restaurant with a few tables and a sushi bar, serving up sushi and ramen.
We ordered the spicy miso ramen, a salmon skin roll, and a spicy tuna roll. Lucky for us, it was happy hour so the rolls were discounted, but the soup was not.
Between the two of us, we shared the soup and had a sushi roll each. We weren't full, but didn't leave hungry either. All the food was great.
The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean and prices were fair.

Food was ok. Service was ok until I asked for water after my Thai tea and she poured it in the same cup as the Thai tea… who does that?! Food was not boiling and my partner and I had to use the restroom as soon as we were done eating, so something was not cooked right.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. A small group of us travel to Pomona for work each year. We are there for about a week. We discovered this place 5 years ago, and it is still talked about amongst our office. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best ramen I have ever had. The sushi is delicious as well. Was just there 2 weeks ago and we went there every single day for lunch. Maybe I am just an uncultured small town dude, but J's Sushi and Ramen might be my favorite restaurant of all time.
