Kitchen. What really caught our eye was the sound of music and flashing lights. We went in, were greeted, and sat at the bar.
We got down with some delicious drinks and complementary chips & salsa. We ordered the fajita plate which included shrimp, steak and chicken. It was big enough for the two of us to share. The bartender was super nice and attentive. It was a fun night with great food, good vibes and great music.

Had the worst experience here last night. My bill came up to almost 60 dollars. My boyfriend got two beers and I got a order of churros that came 40 MINUTES LATE!!! And I paid 3 dollars for a 2oz cup of guac. When the churros finally came out, I was ready to go and pay the bill. It shouldn't take 40 minutes for churros. And why is 2 beers almost 26 dollars. This place is a ripoff. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I usually go here after I leave the bar 🍻. I always get the combo plate 🍽️. I think that is the best choice to get for your buck. 11$ and you can eat and be full. Flour tortillas are super good 😊😎

Be careful with this place they will over Charge you … they don’t like Mexican music … everything is really expensive … don’t come here no girls .. go straight to carnaval

i hate to even make this review because i love the food here, but every single time i go i have a bad experience with the staff and usually it’s the same lady that serves us, whenever we go she rushes us to order then forgets about our table, making us have to go find her if we need anything else. i assume it upsets her because when we do find her she comes back with attitude and slams our plates and drinks down, she even gave my boyfriend water that was dirty it had things floating around and even tajín in the cup ? What’s worse is whenever we are ready to leave we have to go look for her to get the bill because she just disappears. Despite the bad service we decided to just order to go this last time in hopes of a better result, but unfortunately when we asked to split the bill before receiving our order one of the men there took our card/money to the bar side and he tried to scam and charge us for something we didn’t order multiple times until we saw the receipt. so disappointing i think this will have to be the last time we eat here.

Went for father’s day brunch buffet. Ridiculous price around $75 ea, no option without bottomless mimosas included even though we had a child. Selection of buffet items limited considering the price. Waitress never even brought our mimosas. Won’t be returning. Fonda Don Chon in Covina is the spot to go!
