A mom and pop store with great prices and delicious food, including tamales and yummy sweet breads. The place could use modernization, but don't let that deter you. I LOVE supporting the hardworking and ever-present owners. You should, too.

Owner Alfredo is funny, & enjoys bantering with his customers. He makes you feel like you're an old friends & jokes with you. He is an amazing cook. The food is amazing & has the comfort food feeling almost like mom's cooking. Sorry nothing compares to Mom's cooking but Alfredo is a close second. The Tacos are the Best around they are filled with meat, not just a small teaspoon amount like other places or even the Taco man puts a little bit, but not Maria's Tacos, filled to the top & so yummy. Don't even get me started on the Tamales, my favorite is the Elote Tamale & the Cheese tamale, those two are yummy. The pork & chicken are good too but I'm an Elote fan. The Cheese ones are perfection. Now the Pan Dulce there is the Best, baked daily & the Conchas are good as are the Piggy's & cookies, you have so many options. I can go on & on, but go try it out & tell him Elena sent you!!! I have gone practically every week & I bring friends & family each time. When I don't have time to cook dinner my kids tell me to get tacos & quesadillas from Maria's & even they tell me to say hi to Alfredo. Ohh the BEST part is everything is priced reasonable whereas other places raise the prices crazy...at Maria's it's still affordable to feed a family of 4 & get your monies worth. There's plenty more positive to say, But the only negative is (which really isn't a negative it is just my opinion) is they need to play some music, it's a large dining area but I really don't want to hear others conversations, light music would deflect that, that's really only a small negative. That's the only reason why I gave the category of aspmophere a 3 star. Everything else 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They refused to serve me. Obvious communication barrier, I gave the woman at the front English, Spanish, and my phone translator on practically begging them to let me pay them for food and they just wanted me out. There wasn't even any customers, they were open, yet still didn't want to serve me.

AVOID AT ALL COSTSI went to get a bacon breakfast burrito and it was horrible, cheese was not cooked, bacon was burnt, I asked for no onions and they put it anyways. And I noticed that my food was prepared without the cook wearing any gloves. Bad food, bad atmosphere. Never going back
Old school panaderia and restaurant. Great food at reasonable prices. Mexican bread is simple like grandma used to bring us. Nothing fancy but with plenty of Love!!
