Food has always been good the multiple times I've been here. The people that own this restaurant have an amazing service and treated me with respect and care. Sometimes I come here and I feel like I'm an old friend of the family having lunch. No place is perfect, but I really like that they strive and try their best to be. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

The best Vietnamese Restaurant in California. Even the fried rice was amazing, in fact the best I have ever had including restaurants in China and in Vietnam (I traveled there several times). I lived in Arcadia and Temple City and have visited many Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants, nothing can compare to the food in this place. The staff is also cute and friendly.

Bun Rieu does not have shrimp paste.
Don't call it Bun Rieu if it doesn't come with shrimp paste. None of "normal" Vietnamese people want to eat bun Rieu with hoisin sauce.
Ps. I gave it 3 stars but the owner said to ignore it so I gave it back 5 stars. Next time, remember to add a piece of shrimp paste.
