Tierra Mia Coffee Drive Thru

Tried this place for the first time today and the coffee is really good, I tried the pistachio latte. I didn't get the name of the employee that helped us today in drive thru, but she was very friendly and patient while taking our order I appreciate the service

everyone was so sweet! and i’d recommend going inside; it’s way faster than the drive through. and the coffee had the perfect flavour

I had a very unpleasant experience at the drive-thru today around 9:40 AM, mainly due to the dismissive attitude of the manager. I brought to his attention that the 'honor system' for the shortest line wasn't working because a car had cut in front of me and others. His response was shockingly sarcastic and unhelpful.

He said, and I quote, 'I'm sorry but, In-N-Out does it, we don't have any issues, no this usually never happens, did you enter the shortest line, did you really though, we usually have someone out there, well we are not that busy right now to have someone out there, we don't have enough staff.'

I found his answers to be incredibly distasteful and indicative of a passive aggressive, hostile environment. It's one thing to have a flawed system, but to respond to a customer's concern with such disdain is unacceptable. This kind of management style creates a negative atmosphere and reflects poorly on the entire establishment. I hope upper management will address this issue and provide better customer service training to prevent similar experiences in the future.

So we’re just at Tierra Mia: Benjamin the manager gave this stupid reason in why they have the two lines, short staff, also letting my daughter know that just drive up to the shortest line. Listen Benjamin, unsure if you’ve lived in Pomona, but people don’t give a damn in how “ the proper way, courtesy works AT TIMES, not always but you will have your exceptions” if you don’t have staff to ensured people are placing their order in the order they arrived, let the line go to HOLT, this will fall on the person driving if they block drive ways to other establishments. Your answer of sorry and that you have not had any issues in the past very unrealistic. We visit here from San Dimas sometimes if not always three times a week.

This is my third time visiting Tierra Mia. The only reason I know is this place is because a friend of mine insisted I should try it. I love Claremont coffee shops. I reluctantly did though, and I’m glad I did, the location in Sourthgate/Bell area was phenomenal customer service there is what made me want to visit again.

Sadly that wasn’t the experience here at Pomona. The customer service here SUCKS! They rush you like cattle, no one greets you especially the people taking your order at the drive through with their tablets, they’re unprofessional, rude and not warm or educated in customer service. It’s so expected of Pomona sadly.

It’s sad because I live here but I’d rather take my money else where. Now I have to say that the second visit to this specific location once you get to the window is much better. The people were super kind and helpful. It’s such a mixed feeling because their lavander white mocha latte is amazing but is it worth the hassle of the drive through people? I don’t know, my husband didn’t even bother ordering because the girl who helped us 8/3/25 at the drive through was SUPER rude.

I may come back but maybe I’ll come inside next time. I dunno, can’t really even post on my IG because I only recommend good experiences, this one was definitely not it and I do t think I would recommend this location.

Best coffee In Pomona. Just be prepared to wait, tho, because they are always super busy. But that is the ONLY downside. Everything else is 2 thumbs up 👍👍😎.
