Absolutely loved the bread here! I had been craving something sweet and satisfying, so I decided to finally visit this bakery after seeing it on Yelp. I went on a quiet Sunday evening, about an hour before closing, and the atmosphere was peaceful with plenty of parking available. There was no music playing, but I actually enjoyed the calm vibe while browsing through the display of freshly baked treats.
Everything looked so good that I couldn’t resist trying a few different items. I also treated myself to a vanilla waffle ice cream, which was such a fun surprise! My total came to around fifteen dollars, and I even received a free drink for spending over ten, which was a nice bonus.
When I got home and tasted everything, I was blown away by how flavorful and soft the bread was. Each bite was fresh, rich, and absolutely delicious. The coconut raisin bread ended up being my favorite, which says a lot since I usually don’t even like coconut or raisins! That alone shows how talented their bakers are.
I’m already looking forward to going back again, maybe in the morning next time so I can enjoy the bread warm and fresh from the oven with a cup of coffee. This place is definitely a hidden gem and a must try for anyone who loves good pastries and desserts!

Very unsure of how the ratings are so high but as an outsider visiting it was disappointing to find that the food was barely edible, did not taste fresh at all. Might’ve been a bad time to visit

Wonderful little Asian bakery with fresh baked items. Stopped in quickly before my appointment (the game starts at 4:30) for a coffee and a baked something. Small but lots of baked fresh Chinese baked goods. Friendly service that happily made a fresh cup for me. I ended up getting a cream bun for myself and a garlic bun for her. She loves garlic 🙄
Unfortunately bc of homeless issues, no table or chairs. Still yummy
The best Chinese bakery for miles around. Their red bean bread is a little odd, but all their cream, curry, and blueberry paste buns are wonderful.

Soooo, I tried to buy something and they “don’t take $100 bills”. I was basically kicked out because I had a $100 bill.

Uncle Chuangs is nestled next to the fabric store and barber shop at the shopping plaza. I've been getting my nails done next door and finally noticed it is a Chinese bakery. My first visit, I simply tried one of several delights. I was really surprised at how delicious the baked goods are. Everything I've tried was so soft and good. Here is what I remember trying so far: Shortbread cookies with dot of raspberry glaze, meat stuff pastry, cream puff pastry, creme brule, butter croissant, croissants with meat and iced tea. Everything tastes delicious, you will not be disappointed. The pastries I've tried are not too sweet and goes very well with hot or iced beverages. My favorite is the pack of shortbread cookies!
Vegetarian options: They have a large selection of pastries with no meat. I do not know if anything is gluten free, egg free or vegan.

Great blueberry bread. One of the few restaurants I've found around that still stocks red bean toast!

The rolled pork floss cake was extremely dry, the mango cake was okay nothing special. I prefer the quality of cakes/patries at the Riverside branch. The cashier here is nicer than at Riverside.

The pastries are super delicious and appealing to the eye. They are reasonably priced; lower than a popular chain bakery.
Delicious dessert
I had no idea that Uncle chuang's had two locations.I stumbled upon this information when ordering a cake for our youngest son's birthday. So we decided to check out this location. It's a lot smaller than the riverside one. Now, they do have a smaller selection compared to the other location, but that's OK.They are way more welcoming and friendly at this one!The young ladies working are so sweet. The inside is inviting and very well maintained.Super clean and tidy.Their baked goods are just as delicious as the original location. The cake we got was made to perfection. But unfortunately, when we ate it, the berries were spoiled.I'm definitely going to the riverside location instead of this one :(I'm sad because the cake wasn't edible due to the spoiled fruit.
I am amazed at how low the prices are! Their iced green tea is so good and comes free with any purchase over $10. I would love to see the ham and cheese croissant in stock more often
