Roxsbury Deli & Grill

A definite must stop and have a meal. The service was excellent very friendly and accommodating to the customer. The cook was not only the best but he was the owner as well. He used his own personal recipes. All the food was homemade and fresh. Mash potatoes were real not that instant kind. I highly recommend this place.

Decent food, cant hear the servers to well but what pissed me off was the illegal false advertisement / false pricing the menu said 7 they charged 9 for a slice of cake with NO WARNING!!!

Very disappointed. Will NOT go back. Got a brisket au-jus to go and a Reuben. The au-jus was put in a Styrofoam cup with an ill fitting lid. Though they put two stickers in the lid to try and secure it it didnt work. And, they placed that on TOP of everything. Got home, opened the bag, and it had leaked and poured all over everything else in the bag. Complete mess. So, super dry sandwich with nothing to dip it in. On top of that, NOT worth the price at $17 per sandwich. When you think of deli, you think of a nice big fat sandwich. Not here. They were worth MAYBE $5 each, maybe. See pic of my super sad, dry, and boring sandwich. $17? Absolutely not. Ah well.

Simply put, if you are looking for something that makes you feel like you are home... this place is a good choice...
Had the chicken fried steak for dinner, hash browns were offered so I jumped at the opportunity, gravy silky smooth and didn't taste like a packet or flavorless canned junk... potatoes were crispy and not super oily... dinner roll was soft and fluffy... and as a bonus, they gave me the mashed potatoes as well! Staff was super friendly, funny and all around wonderful, if you want a full warm belly and a little bit of being at home.. this is the place

This is my current favorite spot.. everything here is good but not great.. its fairy quiet ehen ive been there which I i personally love. Portions to cost is fair and the service is good..

Gave it a shot..hoping it was same ol roxbury was very disappointed..food was nothing like before...new owners new cooks..can u pls change name if ur not serving the same food...giving people hope ...food order was verybland..no flavor ...will not be goin back

Horrible microwaved blend food as always...everything here comes from either a can or a bag which is then microwaved..today was my third time going to Roxbury and every time I regret it...took my father in law for his 71st birthday because he likes this style of restaurant which seems about right because the only people eating there are 70+,and as in previous times I was extremely disappointed,meatloaf is frozen patties that's been microwaved,the gravy is watery and tasteless even the soda was flat..just horrible horrible quality food especially for the prices they charge..for 18$ a piece you can't even make a couple of fresh meatloafs in the morning and just heat them up to order? Its kinda ridiculous...if this place has any good reviews its because the only one's who would like it is people who grew up on frozen TV dinners and didn't try much of anything else...on top of the horrible quality they slapped a 20$ gratuity charge on our check..honestly I should have just taken him to any other restaurant in town for this price i would have actually enjoyed my food much better even hospital food tastes better then this

We discovered Roxbury Deli & Grill while walking around Port Hueneme and are so glad we did! The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in a long time. We enjoyed dinner so much that we came back for breakfast the next morning before leaving town. Highly recommend this true local gem!
