I really loved how simple and delicious the carne Asada tacos where. I recommend this place for anyone who wants a simple get delicious and quick meal. They also have some great tamales and some delicious Mexican chips! Highly recommend the hand made tortillas aswell.
Unfortunately, my preferred spot for Mexican cuisine here in Porterville has experienced a decline in food quality and service over the past year, particularly with regards to the tamales and menudo, which are now underwhelming and served in insufficient quantities.
Best masa for tamales around.

Soup is good food is good but I like the location on prospect better
The tamales were good but a little bit spicy for us. Probably perfect for most folks.
The menudo and homemade corn tortillas are very authentic and delicious.
Great little Mexican store. Staff is super friendly and attentive.

This place is very good. I have had the bistek with rice and beans served with homemade corn tortillas and it was very delicious. Tamales, Tortas and birria de chivo have also been delicious. Would recommend you try it.
