I grew up eating here and I never had a bad experience with the pizza. Although, the prices are excessive and the charge per extra topping is high. 1 large pizza and 2 small was over $50. But , I wouldn't go here everyday and pay these prices. Then it would have to be a pay day and at most once a month. Wait time is long to eat in at the place. Most people just carry out and take it home. I'm not local so that is an issue. The music they play was not enjoyable and very loud and having a conversation is hard. But the pizza is good and it's a good thing they have more of these places to eat. I ate at the Main Street location.

Went to hear a band but the music was horribly loud to the point you cant even hear the lyrics, and we spent 20 bucks to have wings and tots but you could obviously tell the wings were frozen Buffalo wings covered in "your sauce of choice" not Athentic whatsoever and truly disappointing. The pizza was okay but spending the money we did it, it was not worth it at all!!

After all the talk I've heard from family here in town, I was expecting a lot better experience; grant it they were talking about the downtown location. Pizza was made sloppy and the taste was mediocre. At the price of +$25 for a large I was expecting Me-N-Eds, Mountain Mike's or Round Table quality of pizza. This is definitely not worth it. I don't normally give one star review but this was close to it. Had it not been for the wonderful customer service the lady there gave.

This is for the restaurant on Olive. I don't really recommend eating at this Poor Richards Pizza, on Olive, in Porterville. When I ate there with my mom, we were starving and craving pizza. You know that when you're starving, everything just hits even if it's not that good, well this pizza was still not even good under the influence of being super hungry. The crust of my pizza was so incredibly thin that I felt that I was eating a cracker. I did not like how my pizza tasted and on top of that they took forever to bring out our pizzas and we were the only people in the restaurant. I don't understand why it took so long if we were the only people there and I saw they only had like 1 or 2 people picking up orders. I'm also a person who is not picky with my pizzas but this was by far the worst pizza I ever ate.
They have great pizza and we also like to order the salad big enough for two or three people to share. Large area with lots of tables big enough for large parties. Also, they have an arcade room for the kids. They don’t always have entertainment, but when they do we make an effort to go. They also offer takeout.Parking: There is an additional free large parking lot around the corner towards the back of the building.
