We usually love this place but the food service were not up to their usual level on Sunday. The ahi was not as tasty as usual and the portion was smaller. The spinach was wilted despite my request for it to be cooked. The waiter forgot about my wine and never asked if we needed more water. Perhaps it was just an off night.
Great location, menu and beautiful outdoor seating in the redwoods. Diner was very good (Lamb and Ahi). The Boston cream pie is more of a Boston cream cake which wasn't our favorite. Would definitely go back.
Got Mary's chicken and NY steak. Both were really good. Wait staff were excellent. Explained the dishes very well and service was top notch. Sat outside and it's beautiful at night with the redwoods and lights.
Delicious meal off the specials menu. Not too noisy on a very busy night. That place was packed when we arrived.
We love everything about your restaurant but the noise level. Despite trying to come early the din makes it difficult for our friends to hear. Baffles on the ceilings? Warmly Mary Pat
The food was absolutely delicious as usual. Our service was great! It was a lovely dinner and we will be back soon!
Parkside Grill is consistently good, and Bill and his wife Hope and son Ari obviously care about their patrons. Always an enjoyable evening!
a true gem. restaurant has various feels going for it -- where we sat, it was romantic. great lighting, quiet, etc. around the bar area, more social. and though it was night and the weather nippy, we could tell the outside would be an entirely different feel, in nature. management (owner) and staff were all incredibly friendly. again, that neighborhood, humble vibe. and the food was really really good. the cocktails, really really good. excellent.
Over all we had a pleasant experience, however, the chicken breast was dry and tough, and the Boston Cream pie was a disappointment. The Boston Cream pie is always delicious, but last night the cake portion was dry and crumbly.
Always good to dine at Parkside! Bill and Hope run a welcoming restaurant with style and grace. And the menu is full of tasty items.

We sat under the redwoods on a beautiful night, eating delicious food and being served by the most attentive wait staff.
The dinner menu was adequate and quality of food was very good. The service was average and at time trouble with understanding our verbal requests. We would definitely return and the outdoor seating is fantastic.
The ribs were overcooked but they were able to very quickly recover and brought out a new order very quickly. Amazing people and Service. I recommend the lamb special!

There were 3 of us, and everything ordered was very good - Fusilli & Italian Sausage, Rosemary Prawns, Steak Salad, "side" of french fries (I put "side" in quotes, because it was a very generous serving). Only disappointment - they had listed a peach crumble special for dessert and - even though our reservation was for 6:30 and the restaurant wasn't all that crowded - they were already out when we tried to order it for dessert.
