Great food, quick service, amazing prices. The patio is great for kids. What an awesome addition to Portola!
Excellent food, great beers/wine and amazing atmosphere. Employees are super friendly and I love the vibe. The band was awesome. There is a nice outside seating area but was a little chilly for us. Would highly recommend the Box Car Taphouse.

Box Car Taphouse is a friendly new place in old Portola with an amazing atmosphere. It offers excellent food, like the incredible smash burger and amazing tai salad, at very good prices. There is a great tap beer selection, Alchemy wine, and Brewing Lair beer. The location is convenient, with a big outdoor patio that is dog friendly and a cozy inside. It is family friendly, very clean, and the employees are super friendly, delivering great service. Many guests look forward to coming back and bringing friends.
