I was working the fires on the railroad bridges and finally got off early enough for a decent meal and stopped in. They lost my order and I sat there for quite awhile. I was overly tired and certainly not the most happy customer. Lena wouldn’t take I am leaving for an answer and made my meal in a to go order. She did everything possible to make it right and I am so grateful. If I am ever back there I will absolutely stop in and say thank you and order again. The food was excellent!!!...read full review
Tried finding a place to eat on Portola. Not many choices and some of them even closed. We came across this restaurant, and I’m glad we found it. Tried the soup (creamy vegetable) it was so good, I got the cheese burger and fries which were delicious and fresh, and ordered soup just because it was so good. Our waitress was so nice, perfect dinner.
Worth the ride to Portola just for this place.
