I've had small town pizza, I've had big town pizza, but this was my first time having mountain pizza and let me tell you...

I expected something, but not the deliciousness that I was about to unbox.

I dunno what you guys are doing with your dough, but that was THE BEST pepperoni pizza I have had in easily 10 years. Wings perfect! The Beckworth was good, next time I'll order extra beef though. All of it was so good!

Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Fantastic Gluten Free pizza. Reasonably priced as well! I highly recommend stopping here after a nice exploration at the Railroad Museum.

Best pizza in Portola... and better than pizza in Reno! Excellent crust, a flood of toppings, just the right amount of cheese, and a good selection of pizzas. Think there are 6 large tables that can seat 6-8 people each, and several seats at the bar.

Can get busy on weekends when there's an event in town, but that's to be expected. Phone service can be limited, so the best bet is to stop by and snag an open table or wait outside until a table clears.

This is how a pizza joint should be - damn fine pizza at affordable prices, paper cups for self-serve drinks (with lids&straws), a stack of paper plates, paper napkins in a dispenser on the table, with cheese&red pepper shakers... on a table with a red&white checkerboard tablecloth!! 😎

Had the ham and pineapple. Loved the crust and topping flavors. Best pizza I can remember. Amazing how the 3 person staffed managed the Friday evening rush. .

Hands down the best place to get pizza and other food options. Baked in actual stone oven the crust is perfectly cooked. Plenty of toppings add to the richness. Deep fried cauliflower is also worthy of major consideration when ordering. It has a slight sweetness with a “twang”. Coming back soon!

Oh wow - amazing fresh food!! And it’s pretty affordable and high quality - something I don’t say much these days. They’re pretty slow to make orders but it’s a small team. They really have a technique down to make great pizza….i was surprised to find it in such a little hidden rural town. You’ll be lucky if you’re able to get some pizza here!
