My beautiful lady and I enjoyed our seafood and drinks on an impromptu date night. Clam chowder seemed a little thick, dry, almost risotto like in texture. Missed out on the desert old fashion drink due to the bar being out of mezcal. Over all a great night out. As far as ambience, the restaurant was clean and calm...enjoyable enough...I think the Poway location is great but I prefer seaside Brigantine's as the sea and sunset adds to the ambience! I'll definitely come back.
Love Poway Brigentine. We dine here often and love it. Our server was wonderful and friendly.
Fries were soggy and unsalted and needed sent back. Steak has zero seasoning. Calamari was soggy and not fully cooked. Fondue was not melted and fondue texture or tasty. The toast with the fondue was not toasted a bit soggy with cold unmelted cheese on the toast bits. Dip for fries was not dip but more like drrsssing
This was our first time at the Poway Brigantine. It is beautifully decorated and has lots of different “spaces.” It's just a bit pricey, though. A good special occasion restaurant.
Service was fabulous. Food, not quite fabulous. I had the Maine Lobster special on New Year's Eve and the lobster wasn't quite cooked all the way in my opinion. Also the potatoes au gratin was dry and not cheesy as I expected. The place was noisy, but I guess that is to be expected on a holiday. We went here last year and I ordered scallops which, again, weren't fully cooked.
All was excellent as usual. We were seated in the back dining room near the fireplace. Very cozy. Service by Alicia was outstanding.
It was good but make sure to ask about what you are ordering if you have gluten sensitivity. The option I ordered said it was gluten free but I asked, and the waitress checked and they apparently didn't have any gluten free panko.

Food was amazing, our room was so cozy with the fireplace on and our server Jules was very attentive. Wonderful evening celebrating the holidays with friends.
Food is decent but not great. Unless you like limp fries and diner quality entries. Also, very limited beer and alcohol selection. Best pale ale type draft is a coors light for reference. Onion fries are on point though with a nice crispy exterior. Atmosphere is friendly with good service.

We had requested a booth in our reservation request but were seated at a table. When I pointed this out, it was resolved quickly and we were moved to a booth. Bill was excellent as our server. We've had him before and he is attentive to our needs. We had an enjoyable evening.

We had the filet dinner with Chipotle sweet potatoes along with Brussels sprouts onions and bacon. Lobster bisque was outstanding. Everything was great food service Everything.
Excellent food and service. Watch out for booths - tight squeeze between bench seat and table. More room at regular tables.
The food was great. The atmosphere was lively. The place was packed. A couple things off were the table was not pre-set and the service was a bit lagging.
Our server Aric was wonderful, he assisted our family with great positivity and really added value to the experience of our family dinner for my birthday. Food was also great, busser also ensured our table was always clean. This is the best brig in SD!
My nut crusted mahi was just OK - the rather heavy and soggy risotto did it no favours. Veggies were nice and crunchy.
