I used to come only for their carne asada burritos, but I have since added their Surf & Turf burrito and their healthy chicken bowl to my favorites! ?
The employees who have helped me have been nothing but wonderful!
Parking: There's a relatively small parking lot adjacent to the building, but I've never seen it full as I think most people either drive-through or walk up to El Armando's. There's also a short side street that can be parked along.
Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there's a ramp that allows for access to the walk-up order window.
There's no inside dining, just the drive-through and a couple outside tables.

Food is good and the prices are fair, but the past three times we have been here they've completely messed up our orders. Usually its the wrong burrito or carne asada fries instead of an enchilada. Would definitely come back if they were more reliable

Lady in the drive thru is almost completely deaf. Everything had to be repeated 3-5x even at the window. She would just yell what!! And talked in a loud rude way. When I arrived at the window she hid in the back for 5 mins and I couldn’t change 1 thing on my order because they made it already.

The food was good. Not great. I'd give it a 3.7. There was too much cabbage in the fish burrito and the white sauce was really sweet. They do give you a variety of salsas with it, so it may be sweet on purpose. The ultimate sin was no guacamole or sour cream on the California Burrito. A California Burrito must have at least one of those things. So, overall it's fine.

It's a great taqueria when you are starving. I would love for them to promote the quality of their birria meat, but I have been told that cheap tacos on Tuesdays means cheap meat. Great for last minute meal plans

Finally a place in poway that doesn't close shortly after sunset. Came here on a Friday night past midnight. The Carne asada burrito was delicious. Guacamole, Pico de Gallo and great steak
