The food here speaks for itself. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every dish. I had the braised short ribs with garlic mash — comforting, hearty, and cooked to perfection. The wine list is solid too. Ideal for a quiet night out or a romantic dinner.

The food was not good at all, it was mushy & tasted like everything was out of a can flavorless. I used the app to preorder and had a 20-minute drive to get there arrived and we still waited about 10 minutes. The inside dining room was a weird vibe, and its nice furniture but it's not inviting lighting is dark &feels very corporate. And the outside was cool until inrealized there were no umbrellas so the sun was so hot. I wouldn't go back. Customer service was great though.

I always get my side of chicken extra chopped at every single other El Pollo Loco but the manager at the Poway location refused to do it. It was completely ridiculous. And for some reason they never give me a receipt at this location

I’m still dreaming about my meal at Pollo Loco!! Each bite was a delight, and the presentation just blew us away. Don’t out on trying their New street corn chicken pollo bowl. Highly recommended.. love the atmosphere, great customer service. Restaurant so clean. Love it!!!

They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect items. I was very impressed with the quality of the product I received. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger said " I'll be Back" Pollo Loco!! The El Pollo Loco on Scripps Poway Parkway closed and this one is now the closest to my house. Went here for a quick dinner this week and everything was as expected. The lights for the menu board were not on when I drove through - but thankfully they were open. Got a Chipotle Avocado Chicken Burrito and it was good. I thought I used to get chips with it...but not this time.
