Pretty good portion size and flavor. When I went it was really packed so it has to be popular.

My mother in law took us here for brunch. The food was so delicious. I can't wait to go back.

One reviewer said they have the best fish tacos. WRONG. It was horrible. The plank is frozen from Walmart and you could make it yourself. They added barely any cabbage, a lot of pico, and the white sauce is literally an American tartar sauce. I asked for the, “chipotle” sauce on the side and that was just as horrible being a slight pink color and doused with pure mayonnaise. Go to Taco Taco. Only 99 cents for a much better and deserving fish tacos…. Also, nice touch with the salsa bar, but the Red sauce is crap just like another reviewer mentioned. The taste is off for some reason. Their tomatillo (green) sauce is okay, but that red sauce is a huge turn off. So are the breakfast burritos. Chincy in size to say the least. The carne asada burritos are also small for $15 and they add lettuce. Say what? Them rolled tacos are also small very good size with the shredded beef they add, but that NEON GREEN guacamole is NOT GUACAMOLE. They water their avocado down with sour cream and add green food coloring to save on costs. Even though their prices are high their quality doesn’t match. The only reason many people come here is because they are one of the few Mexican shops that open early. As with the case for me, but never again. Go to Oscar’s down the street. Opens at 6am. Good food for the price; way better red sauce; and, their salsa bar offers jalapeño carrots. Win. Win. Triple Win.

Unbelievable carne asada tacos. The riace and beans were freshly made. This could be the best tacos I've ever had. Thank you 🙏.

My beef taco was perfectly made. The tortilla was fried just right to make biting into it easy. Inside the taco shell was a mound of delicious shredded beef, lettuce, cheese, tomato and I think sour cream.

Order a Breakfast burrito this morning and then I asked for two hot sauce cups because they don’t have them out. You need to ask for them. They were very busy so it took about five minutes before somebody was able to help me, Then she tells me they only allow one little plastic cup per order. I seriously thought she was joking and she said no that’s their policy. That’s like two bites of a burrito. A little frustrating because it is literally the most expensive place in town. I cannot imagine that those cups cost more than a penny each.

This place is great, good food, a bit pricey though.
Avoid the carne asada fries, those are a rip off. They give you a tiny portion for the price, and they just don't make them right. Everything else is pretty solid though.
Extremely expensive 1 tampiquena plate ridiculous small portion
And a small drink $25dlls
I been in this restaurant before
But prices went up big time I won't recommend it

Worst carne asada burrito in San Diego. No pico and they add lettuce to a skimpy burrito. Don't waste your time or money. Go to Oscar's in Poway. Soooo much better.

Stopped in for lunch, first time in. Very pleasant to walk into shop. Very clean, and colorful. Ordered two shredded beef tacos. The tacos were great. I noticed my dish came with two chips...Either an accident that they were on my plate, or intentional...I reckon one chip fee with each taco...😁
Bathroom was clean enough....
Now on the down side....
1. Restroom does have paper towels, only blower, this forces you to unlock an turn handle to get out of restroom. This is very unsanitary.
2. The red sauce from salsa bar tastes like Karachi hot sauce. I do not care for it. The other sauce is very mild. Not real impressed with salmon bar, except for the chopped diced raw onions..love me some onions.
I would like to try the Carne Asada burrito, however, I will have to go to another shop that has better sauces to eat with burrito.

Lady took my order was so sweet. I got the Chilaquilles with green sauce. AMAZING. Food prices are outnof control but I can't fault the restaurant for that. If going to spend going out I see it's best to get the quality you are paying.
