Fish Delights European Food Market

A bit crowded but very convenient store. Very well organized and has practically everything a person need. Cooked and packed food is very tasty and I definitely recommend anyone to try it. My favorite place to visit when I am in this area. You are welcome 😊

Beware! Dishonest business practice! They incentivize you to collect rewards points by purchases but when you are ready to redeem the points they say they do not carry that specific item (roasted seeds in this case). This has happened on 3 occasions now. With the amount of money you spend here its better to go elsewhere.

Just wanted to share my experience so others know what to expect.
If you're planning to get a small piece of fish here be ready to spend half your day waiting for it. There's literally one person doing everything: helping customers, slicing, weighing, answering questions, and handing out samples. So if there are five people in line you're basically entering a survival game. Only the strongest make it to the front.
While I was waiting, I saw a guy grab some ice cream from the freezer, wait around for like 20 minutes, then put his now-melted ice cream back into the freezer and leave. Yikes.
The way this place is run really needs to change. If they're calling it European, maybe take some notes from how things are actually done in Europe... or the U.S. for that matter.
Also, I recently pre-ordered some berries (they don't sell them by weight, only by pre-packed boxes). When I finally got them they were so sour I couldn't even eat them. Now I'm stuck with a box of disappointment.
I'll give credit where it's due: they do have some tasty goodies, the staff is friendly, and the background music is always nice. But the store management needs a serious wake-up call. Honestly, they should just rename the place to Back to the USSR that way, at least people know what kind of chaos they're walking into.

It feels like I’m back in a shop from my homeland 🤩. The fish tastes just like it did in my childhood, the pickled goods are top-notch, and the dairy products (especially the cottage cheese) are simply magical. It’s so nice to have a place where everything feels homemade and familiar. ♥️

I really love this Food Market. They have so many tasty foods from different European countries. My favorite is their smoked fish and bread-it’s so good! And sunflower seeds!!
The employees are always helpful. I always leave happy and with a bag full of food that reminds me of home! Love this store

Excellent assortment of goods, everything is fresh, the store is very clean and well equipped. The products of European countries are worthy of representation, a lot of Polish food and German meat. I have bought fish the more than once and am very pleased. Large assortment of sweets and tea.

The Poway store has an amazing variety of European products. I love their Polish food. They also have a good selection of German meat, perfect for making sandwiches and traditional dishes. Every time I visit, I find something new and interesting to try. The staff is very friendly and the store has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Came across this local store online and wanted to purchase their items. Willingly paid 30 dollars for shipping and spent 259 total (sent from CA to OR).

Part of my order was cancelled without explanation and no reply from email. Sent wrong items and emailed again and no reply. Items arrived and it was picked up within 30 minutes to find only one tiny ice pack and all fish products warm. Everything went bad and smelly. Called the store and was told to call back to speak to manager. Manager the next day said to email to resolve issues. It’s been more than a week and I still have not heard back. What a terrible and disheartening online experience. Absolutely frustrating.

Been coming to this store for years. Smoked fish is my thing and nobody in San Diego has a better selection AND a great tasting food than these guys!

Good selection of smoked fish and caviar (not only classic salmon and sturgeon). Pickles, mushrooms (frozen and pickled), sweets from Europe. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I highly recommend it if you want to try something out of standard supermarket selection.

Когда магазин открылся было не плохо. Было вкусно и доступно. Сейчас испортился. Готовая еда не вкусная . Я половину из того что купила выбросила в мусор. Оливье не вкусный, картошка в нем была сырая и ее было слишком много, котлеты по киевски начинены укропом и луком 😖Есть было не возможно. Корейская морковь была не свежая. Цены при этом поднялись. Вообщем разочарование 😔

It’s a gem of a place! With lots of European choices of food, just super generous variety. ALWAYS fresh, always good service. Smoked fish delicacies, kielbasa choices, fresh deli every day, different salads, frozen section is also pretty good. Just you name it, they have it. European chocolate candy, Marshmallows, Cakes, gift boxes, tvorog, kefir, European sour cream and plenty of other products and produce. I love this store! I highly recommend it to anyone who is loooking for something special and delicious. You’ll find it here, no doubt.
