Delicious food and great service even when they're busy!

So much more than a 'burger joint' !
Food: While I'm sure the burgers are good, don't overlook the other sandwiches and specials! The tri-tip steak sandwich was the best I've had in years. The peppery arugula balanced the rich aioli and complemented the steak and grilled onions. The bun held up but wasn't too big or dry.
Service: Toni (I think) was great. I was catching up with an old friend and she seemed to appear with drink refills right on cue but never hovered or made us feel rushed. I appreciated the recommendation when I was deciding between a couple menu items.
Atmosphere: Interesting, cute, and definitely fit in with the surrounding historical Old Poway railroad and buildings. Being a late Wednesday afternoon before dinner, it was pretty empty and not too loud. Eating area was clean and bathrooms freshly stocked.

Parking: Nearby street parking was free. The lot is also free and pretty large. There are additional lots to accommodate weekend sightseers, so really no issues.

I don't recommend the hamburger factory, the French dip and the fries are awful,the fries were cold. The hamburger factory use to b so much better before the new people took it over. I'm sorry but we won't b going back and I won't recommend it to anyone that ask .

I’m not recommending that place.I had a pastrami sandwich, and basically it was a sandwich with very little pastrami, and price was $18, I left hungry and disappointed.

It was my first time here, but I'll be back. The service was top notch, thank you Miguel. I ordered the beast burger, buffalo wings and fried Mac and Cheese bells. All the food was great.

Went for breakfast and had corned beef hash, which was a few pieces of brisket hidden in a mountain of potatoes!

Fun restaurant, but we were very disappointed in the service and food. There were four of us, and two meals were not provided for at least ten minutes after the first two. The waitress provided no explanation or apology. When she brought the last two orders she acted like it was business as usual. As for the food, certainly nothing special. I deduced that their burgers would be excellent so I was surprised to find mine a wet mess. Very strange - worst burger I’ve had in a while.

Recently under new management(2024). The burgers are great, and breakfast is solid. There are many different places to sit including a covered outside area.

Great old-time ambiance with good quality food. The menu is diverse enough that I need to go back and try a few more items.

It is under new ownership and had an updated menu. On Saturdays (when the farmer's market is happening), this place is always packed. Other days, it is reasonable.

Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of gluten free options.
It is very easy to go bread free by making something a salad or wrap. Staff is helpful with this.
