Food is not consistent. The host is very unprofessional and not trained to handle customers. The servers are very slow and seem too busy taking care of many tables. They seem overwhelmed at times. I thought this place would change for the better with the new owners taking over and revamping the menu, but it's gotten worse. Sorry to say.

Went here last Sunday. Were seated quickly but took forever to get drinks or our order in—seemed like only two or three very overworked wait staff were there. Food was okay but we need to talk about the kid’s menu macaroni and cheese they brought out. As a parent of a toddler I know what three day old Kraft Mac n cheese out of the refrigerator looks like, and this was it. It was dried up, lumpy, and cold—they hadnt even warmed it up in the microwave. This is not something you can charge money for. Otherwise, my husband’s French dip sandwich was good. My turkey club was dry but okay. Place was cute and family friendly.

Our waitress was amazing. She knew all of the information I needed about the menu and the food came out quick. It was hot. It was delicious there. The barbecue bourbon burger was dynamite, and I have to say this Sundays are delicious It’s a beautiful location as well. You can go outside on the railroad. You can go look at the old houses.
Great overall and every time. Fairly priced and great food. The type of place you want to go to several times a week, and we do.

This is a Poway institution, it's been a staple for the community of poway.. They recently went through a much needed major renovation following a change of ownership, but still staying with the eclectic style that makes it a homey place for Powaywigens. Staying true to their classic hamburgers, a cleaned up menu in a fairy clean establishment including a few new items to stay with the current time in food trends . What's the closer? We were all scared that they were gonna replace Kevin! He''s an icon in Poway, the friendliest most passionate employee that has ever worked in the food industry. He always puts the twist on customer service and making any situation from bad to great .. In a world of In-N-Out Burger and Chick-fil-A, please help support local businesses that aren't a chain so that we can keep them in our community and thrive... Kevin, thank you for an amazing waiting experience during our brunch always making room for our group after our meetings ..

Great place and is a terrific location. Kevin was our server. Extremely friendly and offered great advice when asked. Eggs Benedict was flavorful and the spicy potatoes not very spicy but loaded with flavor. Recommend the breakfast sandwich as well. A lot of food. New to the place and not yet on the menu is the coffee cake. Added by the owner and displayed on FOX 5. Moist and a great desert. FOX5 showed off a couple of other menu items that were killer meals but ya have to be way hungry. The restaurant is an open design but not loud. Kevin plays good music in the background and conversations are easy to hear. Be sure to ask for Kevin. He is a character.
