i love this place honestly. the sushi is very fresh, so flavorful, and service is always great. one of the better sushi places in north county san diego. the 4.4 stars doesn’t do it justice. I hate asparagus but easy to ask them to just exclude and everything i’ve tried here is great. the bento boxes for kids are an awesome plus

Some book club friends met for a Galentines Day lunch. Food was delicious. Employees fun, energetic, and enthusiastic. We all got a rose from the manager. Restaurant was unexpectedly and delightfully decorated for Valentine's Day. We were a group of 10, and the manager kindly accommodated separated checks. I'm not a sushi fan, but there were many choices to appease all palates. Delicious vegan options as well.

We really like the food here. Great vegan options. However, today, for the 3rd time, we came on a Sunday mid-day and the restaurant was closed for a couple hours with a sign on the door during regular operating hours. We drove 20min each way. Not cool. Just change the hours.

Went for the first time Nov 11. Wait time wasn't long at all, staff was friendly, filled at about half capacity. TVs played sports and there was nice music creating a relaxing atmosphere. Also, Tuesdays happen to be all day happy hour. The menu consisted of rolls we'd never heard of before. You could ask for a menu of traditional rolls but for our first time we went with their specialty rolls off the happy hour menu. Started with shishito peppers as appetizers and they were medium spicy and the dipping sauce was tasty. Our rolls were the TJ roll, lightning roll, and the James Bomb roll, all of the happy hour menu. They were excellent! My favorite was the James Bomb. SO rich and delicious! Each was very flavorful on their own way, and the rolls were larger than expected. We should have stopped early and taken some home, but nah! They were too good. Definitely on our list for regular sushi cravings and especially on Tuesdays!
