Went for the first time Nov 11. Wait time wasn't long at all, staff was friendly, filled at about half capacity. TVs played sports and there was nice music creating a relaxing atmosphere. Also, Tuesdays happen to be all day happy hour. The menu consisted of rolls we'd never heard of before. You could ask for a menu of traditional rolls but for our first time we went with their specialty rolls off the happy hour menu. Started with shishito peppers as appetizers and they were medium spicy and the dipping sauce was tasty. Our rolls were the TJ roll, lightning roll, and the James Bomb roll, all of the happy hour menu. They were excellent! My favorite was the James Bomb. SO rich and delicious! Each was very flavorful on their own way, and the rolls were larger than expected. We should have stopped early and taken some home, but nah! They were too good. Definitely on our list for regular sushi cravings and especially on Tuesdays!

Just WOW! This place is the best sushi spot I’ve been to in San Diego so far! Their food is always super fresh and I LOVE how they have nigiri on their happy hour menu! The fish is so buttery and melts in your mouth. We have been coming to this place almost every two weeks for the past year, never disappoints! I highly highly recommend to try it!

Sauces are either quite sweet or salty. All food is really fresh. Vegie gyoza is delish. Use of Krab (vs Crab) is a shame. Everything is so artfully presented. Many yummy sounding vegan options.

This is totally a hidden jewel of Poway! We visited this place once and we keep going back. They have a variety of sushi and other things, including many vegan options. I reccomend the candied albacore, the baked dynamite roll, the garden deleight, and the tempura. All the food is balanced in flavor and the service is fantastic.

Poway Great atmosphere! Seated immediately table for 5. Our waitress Cindy was very helpful and polite. I had a Japanese 75 cocktail ( loved it). Spicy seafood miso soup also very good...everything was great! We'll be coming back for happy hour Tuesday!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The chef clearly knows what they’re doing. Everything was cooked perfectly and beautifully plated. Such a great find!

Sushi was ok. Not great. I had tuna and yellowtail. Both were average. I also had seaweed salad and it had WAY to much dressing and was definitely sub-par. I will probably give this place one more chance and see if I just caught them on a bad night, if it's not any better than it was the first time I won't go back.

Food & service were excellent, but the DJ at the door playing overly loud music was a bit much - we literally couldn’t hear one another & had to ask our server if they could turn down the music (which they did a little). Is this a sushi restaurant or a lounge?
