Tried this food once with my coworkers on a Friday night. I as sorely disappointed and the food was bland/ terrible in my opinion. Anyone who loves bland food might enjoy this place. Especially if you were expecting flavorless, expensive BBQ. Poway really doesn't have any other options which is tragic. And the sports aspect and bar really save this place. Never would I EVER come here again. Been driving past it for years and after the food (brisket, pulled pork and a few others we tried) I'll never be back. Especially for the quality of food and price. No thanks.
This place used to be quite enjoyable, but has gone downhill over the past couple years.
Service is hit & miss at best. Some of the workers are great, but some of the family staff that tend bar/serve are absolutely horrible, arrogant, loud/obnoxious, and don't value the customers unless they know you or you're a regular/bar-fly.
The quality of the food is decent, but the portion size has shrunk while the prices have skyrocketed... yes inflation is hitting everyone, but the increase in prices here are far beyond other similar establishments. For example, $47 (before gratuity) for 1 order of chicken nachos (w/ guac), 1 beer, 1 soda. That's insane. I can get the same offering at a couple different sports bars just down the road for about 1/2 that price and it comes with a significantly larger portion of nachos and a wider selection of beers.
Atmosphere is good for the sports bar, but I gave low points for not being valued and ignored by service staff. I don't need to pay to have this kind of experience.
Kaminski's has seen their last dollar from me.
Very expensive
Great bbq and atmosphere. The service is friendly and the food is excellent!
Got a rack of baby backs at Kaminski's today. Tight, overcooked, dry, with little or no smoke. Oven baked? and drowned in sweety sauce. It took a chef knife to separate them and the bones lifted right off the meat, dry as.. well.. a bone. $36 boondoggle
Best ribs in town! Family owned warm-hearted restaurant with an amazing selection of American food in a sports bar atmosphere! Love this place! You can't go wrong with their ribs and brisket! Thank you, Bernardo. Thank you, Michael, and thank you, Marsha!
Excellent atmosphere and friendly attractive staff. Food options are geart. However the nachos I can not recommend. The burger and fries were delicious.
Absolutely first class. I was treated like a member of the family. I felt like I person who's feelings mattered.

classic sides were refreshing
slaw was crisp and seasoned with pepper

If you love BBQ, you will love this place!!!
Family owned since, well, since before most of you were even thought of.
Food has delicious recipes, some are even from inside the family, and are totally awesome.
Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, and you have to try the RIBS, unbelievably superb!!!
Platters, Burgers, Numerous Side Options, Salads, Deserts
AND Sandwiches: A MUST, ya gotta try the “Beef & Chedder” which you can sub the chedder for pepper jack, yummy -also- the “Amazing Melts” …I heard a story that this beauty was originated by one of the cooks, while on the SuperQ food truck, an old wives tale, it could be, or not… A MOST EXCELLENT CHOICE… remember to add the jalapeños!!!
Heck, they even have a good selection of vegetarian items... if you can believe one would go to a BBQ joint... I don't understand that choice at all, although I have had a "beyond burger" with cheese and bacon added, quite tasty I must say!
Great beer options for those who enjoy that, above and beyond selection of your favorite liquors.
Not the cheapest restaurant, because you are getting top quality meats and food, believe me.
Personally, I am not a big karakoe fan, mostly due to the lack of quality at most events, but it is a hoot.
Staff is super friendly and attentive to your dining, drinking and even your sports needs... yes, there are over 20 TV's and most everything you could ask for is available, just ask.
Sports, from NFL Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights, to baseball, to Hockey, NASCAR, UFC, basketball, to Olympics (even Curling), to Soccer, you name it, they will do their best to find it.
Exemplary… and remember this tid-bit: If you leave hungry, well, that’s your own fault!!!
Parking: When it's busy, say Sunday Football, always remember, there is a lot adjacent to the restaurant. An office building next door. Just be mindful of where to fit in during the hours those businesses are open. Still plenty of room.

Best bbq in San Diego County. If there was a better place I would know.
Kaminski’s is it.
They have Baby Back Ribs and good sauce and what else do you need?

I keep wanting to like this place but am constantly disappointed. Yesterday service was incredibly slow. We waited 15 minutes for a drink, when there were exactly 6 other people in the place, and bartender just chatting with a couple servers. A staple of BBQ is usually baby back ribs - theirs are inedibly dry, even if you drown them in sauce. I've found this with their brisket also. Potato skins are good. Hot links are good, but $15 for one? Yikes
