This might be the best Greek food in San Diego. Gyros were great, tzatziki super tasty, fries are deliciously seasoned, spicy feta sauce was awesome, and the falafel was one of the best I've ever had. And incredibly friendly staff
The dark chicken plate with lamb or number 11, is the best Greek food i ever had. The spicy feta cheese sauce is out of this world! Larry is awesome! Great family place, great service and food, always.
I was feeling Greek food after our hike in Poway. Called this place as I wanted a gyro but a lot of places make them with only beef or chicken, while I prefer lamb. Larry's says theirs is a mix of beef and lamb. It was perfectly fine but still prefer lamb. Lots of fries came with it. My wife had the quarter chicken plate. She said she was glad she didn't get the half chicken as it was a lot of food. She enjoyed it.Parking can be a pain. The lot serves a number of places....
