Was disappointed in the food. Tasted like it had been sitting under a warmer for a long period of time. Food was too salty overall, the beans and rice were also too dry in texture and salty. My birria taco shell was soggy and the beef was very dry and the consommé came in a tiny cup and lacked flavor. I would not go back. Everyone in my family was disappointed in their food also.

The Mexican Bar is a fantastic place for big or small groups. Their patio with a Cadillac margarita and ceviche is the perfect San Diego spot. The staff is friendly, attentive, and doesn't rush you through a great time. Great happy hour and taco Tuesday. The margaritas are the best we've found in San Diego

I came here for my birthday dinner and couldn’t have picked a better place. The staff was so thoughtful and even brought out a dessert with a candle. The filet mignon was absolutely perfect — tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. This place made the evening special.
