Awesome selection of wines to sip on(and an adorable friendly doggie they have hanging out there!). Our favorite was the sangria slushie! Tasty and super friendly service. Check em out after taking a nice stroll at the Poway Farmers Market on Saturdays, which sets up right outside this location!

Wine tasted good and the service was super friendly. Right on the main street in old Poway. They have a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. When we came on a Sat around 3 there were a few groups there but not too busy. I got a glass of red and my partner got the wine slushie. The lady helping us let me try a couple options before I got a glass. Prices were fair. $15 for my glass and $13 for the wine slushie. The only negative was that later that night I got a huge headache. Which doesn't usually happen when I drink wine. So not sure if something about how they make their wine impacted it.

Tastings: Flight of 5 wines, Whites $13, Mixed $14, and Reds $15. Wines by the glass (white or red) $13, Specialty wines $13-$16 (prices as of 8/19/23)First time visiting this intimate, rustic wine tasting room and production facility in Poway. Tristan poured for us and was a very gracious host and extremely knowledgeable about their wines. They have a nice selection of whites, reds, dessert wines, Sangria, and refreshing slushies. Their fruit is sourced primarily from California, and they make a little bit of everything. IMO, the white wines tend to be a little lighter bodied, crisp, with little time on oak. The reds were a little lighter bodied than what we usually prefer, but well made. The two "dessert" wines were outstanding. Wine tasting is very subjective, so you should definitely give it a try for yourself. They don't have food, however there are several local food vendors that will either deliver or you can pick up and eat there. The inside tasting room is not huge, but they have a large outdoor patio with wonderful views of Old Poway Park and the sunset. They're open later than most wineries, so that's a perk as well.Definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.

Wonderful little spot. Staff is incredibly friendly and up for a chat if you are! Wine is lovely and they are great at making suggestions. (I'm a little new to wine so I really need suggestions on what to try next based on the random ones I've had so far and the flavors I like). It's a cozy spot inside that has been very nice to stop in to for some AC but it'll also be such a great spot come winter!

Came here on a Friday night for a wine flight and it was great! Hardly anyone here wine was good and smooth. Flights are only $15 which is about the same as a glass of wine but you get more wine with a flight. Great vibes and atmosphere

The wine was good, but what seems to be the regulars drive new customers away. Our dog was attacked by a customers dog that was off leash, and he immediately admitted that it was not friendly. The dog was then allowed to remain unattended even after another dog walking by was attacked within 30 minutes. This was brought up to the staff and they did nothing to remedy the situation. It seems like they would rather attend to their regular group than drive new sales. We took our business next door where food is served, families are welcome, and the dogs are nice and on leashes.

Owner allows an aggressive dog on the premises. It attacked not only my friends dog but another customers dog within 30 minutes. When brought up a "we are aware, but that's it" kind of approach was taken. Wine is pretty good, unfortunately this location isn't where you should get it at.

Great boutique winery with great wines. Recommend the Bourbon Barrel Aged Malbec.

Love the wines here. They make the wines in house. They have a great selection of Both red and whites,. I love the white Blend and the steam engine red. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. On Sunday they have live music. You can bring your own food or order from local restaurants to eat at mission cellars. I belong to their wine club and enjoy my two free glasses each month and two bottles every other month. They have a slushie sangria that is very refreshing in the hot weather. The service is great, Tristian is always there and does a great job making sure our wine classes are full. He is very knowledgeable on the wines and how they are made.

Stopped here after a hike with some friends. We each enjoyed a flight of wine. I ordered the red and white and she ordered the red flight. After tasting, we decided to order a glass of wine for us and husbands. We closed our tabs and left. I realized once I got home that I was charged for both flights of wine and our two glasses. My friend was also charged for her flight of wine and two glasses. I called the establishment to reconcile the error and had to leave a message. No one retuned my call or refunded me for the overcharge. I tried to call two other times only to get their answering machine. Probably my fault for not looking at the bill more closely, but I would not return to this establishment again. I don't find them trustworthy and never returned my call to this day. It has been two weeks.

Great little wine tasting room with both indoor and outdoor seating! You can bring your own food. We came for the farmer's market then brought our lunch over to Mission Cellars to eat with wine. Delicious wine! Friendly service. Dog friendly, too!
