Casual dining spot with authentic Persian food. If you want to truly enjoy fresh, authentic Iranian cuisine that’s truly delicious and comforting, this restaurant is it ! With favorably priced daily specials and a regular menu with classic options like kabobs, rice, stews and savory appetizers. The sweet owner is so warm and kind, offering us complimentary Persian tea (chai) which is a staple to any Persian meal. So happy to have found this little gem.

Yes, please!!!! Every single thing we ordered was delicious and fresh. It was our first time there and the food was excellent. The server was a great young man and the owner, Ali, came out to bring us the flatbread and then later to check on us and see how we liked the food.
We'll definitely go again and recommend to friends. We had 3 different meats and shared three 2 kabobs plate and added a chicken kabobs and it was plenty food for two. We even took some home. Was very pleased that it was great food and affordable. Our bill was less than $50 without the tip and we upgraded the rice to enhance our experience.

Namino is one of the best Persian restaurants I’ve been to. The food quality is excellent—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really taste the authenticity in every dish. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding; the staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Persian food and a great overall experience.

I’ve heard so many great things about this place, and it truly lives up to the hype. The Persian food is delicious — from Ash and Halim to flavorful, perfectly cooked kebabs, especially the koobideh and abgoosht, which are among the best I’ve had. The prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. In my opinion, this is hands down the best Persian restaurant in San Diego.

The rice dishes and the specialty soups (Ash, Haleem) I'd really high-quality and delicious.
Staff are friendly prices are very reasonable for such high-quality food. If you go there, make sure to take some soup with you home.
Enjoy

The food was amazing. I never leave a review unless something is extremely good or extremely bad. Hands down the most delicious ghormeh sabzi I’ve had in the US. I was so happy I happened to come on a Thursday when they make it. I also ordered koobideh for my husband, and he absolutely loved it. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

This Persian restaurant completely exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich, balanced, and truly authentic — exactly what Persian food should taste like. The koobideh was tender and perfectly seasoned, the saffron rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the tahdig had that beautiful golden crunch everyone dreams of. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel like visiting family. If you’re looking for real Persian hospitality and unforgettable food, this place is a must.
