There's something special about this place. The coffee warms your heart like a soft blanket, I highly recommend the Nutmeg Latte; it's impossible to be in a bad mood sipping one. The staff is so charming and sweet and the food is a wonderful blend of clean eating and delicious taste. The vegan scramble is always my personal favorite. Perfect place to recharge during a stressful workday!

This was my first time since they moved. I ordered the omelet.It was very bland and not fluffy like a typical omelet. The potatoes were very dry. I was disappointed as this was not my experience at the old location. Maybe new owners took over? I'm not sure I'll go back.

We have been enjoying the Sabre Springs location for years, and thrilled to see this one has less of a line, but same delicious food options, and even did this fun art in my delicious Oatmilk Mexican Mocha. Thank you Nutmeg for making both locations excellent and worth coming back.

Great spot for breakfast or lunch hidden in the Poway industrial Park. Definitely worth seeking out. Capri sandwich is a flavor bomb while the avocado toast is a wonderful meal. The black tea has fabulous flavor. They'll gladly give you a refill (unlike the other bakery around the corner).

Really good gluten free options. The people are super nice! Food was great, and the latte was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating, so that's a really nice option. We'll definitely be back!
I was in town for work and was in desperate need of a matcha. A quick search of google maps pointed me here, and since it was just a few minutes from my hotel, I decided to check it out. The ambience is very cute and aesthetic, tucked into a little business park. Look out for the brown Nutmeg flag outside if you’re having trouble finding it! The matcha was delicious. Sweeter than I usually like, but with a hint of vanilla, it was a welcome treat! All of the pastries looked incredible, too! I was tempted to try the chocolate cake with chai frosting or the turkey and pesto croissant, but ultimately settled on the brown butter blondie warmed up. It’s excellent! Not too sweet with a hint of that brown butter warmth and the satisfying crunch of walnuts. If you’re in Poway, I definitely recommend giving Nutmeg a try!
