I’m not even a fan of this restaurant chain. But since we were lazy and craving Vietnamese food, we decided to stop in. Had low expectations but surprisingly, it wasn’t bad.

They used to not offer broken rice but they do now and the grilled bbq meat was flavorful. It comes in a block which is northern style. Shaken beef with garlic rice was also made with broken rice. The cubed beef was soft and had the flavor but extremely chewy.

Pho filet came with meatballs. Soft and thin filet. The broth was a bit salty for me but with just a few limes, I got it to my liking. Also came with bone marrow.

We ordered classic spring rolls as take out.

Glad we gave this place another chance during lunch. It’s the same menu all day.

Food came fast, it's tasty not the worse thing I've had. I was looking for a spoon and I'm not a fan of keeping them at the table for everyone to touch and this is why, it's just not sanitary. Now I'm afraid of what else goes on places I can't see 😬

I don’t give many reviews but I love the pho here so much that I had to make sure to give it a review. Specifically the lemon grass beef is amazing! I come here at least once a month for it specifically. The service is also amazing and the people are very friendly.

The server charged my credit card TWICE, at $183 a pop, after a family birthday dinner with a hefty 20% gratuity automatically added in. Called the restaurant and the hostess promised the manager would call me back if I sent her the appropriate info, but now I hear crickets from Pho Ca Dao and I have to dispute the extra charge with my credit card company.

I selected this restaurant at random from all the restaurants in Poway and was so happy that we went there. The atmosphere was nice and quiet and the service was great. The food was all five star. The ice water was nice and refreshing. The appetizer we got were really good. We got Vietnamese chicken wings, and shrimp spring rolls.

For our main course, we all got pho. One of us got the beef pho, one of us got the shrimp pho, and the last one got a mixture of beef cuts in that pho. All I can say is you should definitely go there. You will not be disappointed.

Got takeout for meatball and rare steak Pho, five out of five because the broth was good, and I’m usually hesitant about getting Ramen or pho because they never put enough toppings, noodles or broth for the price I pay, but this location really did hook it up with everything. Will definitely come again!

Starting off with the review that they certainly have the best fresh rolls in San Diego.
The rolls have grilled meats, I picked out the BBQ beef and shrimp and it was the best ones I've ever had.

Now with the soup. The soup offers a robust beer flavor, the toppings are generous and meaty, and the noodles have a satisfying bouncy chew without it feeling rubbery. The downside is that the starch from the noodles releases into the broth, making the soup cloudy over time. This isn't as desirable as the broth Is already modestly seasoned.

I would come back here though for sure.

Pho broth is good, the small size has too much noodle with little broth which make everything luke warm. I ordered Soda Chanh Muoi, asking twice but it didn’t come until I finished the food, too little chanh muoi and lots of sugar, wouldn’t order it again. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all at the time.

Absolutely delicious, the servers were kind and we never had empty cups. The food was divine and we have found a place my brother begs us to return to.

Had such a nice dinner here last night. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for a quiet meal. I ordered the creamy mushroom tagliatelle, and it was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time — rich, earthy, and full of flavor. Service was friendly and professional. Will definitely return.
