Ordered a fish taco and fish burrito. It did not taste the same as before. The fish taco was dry, barely had any sauce in it and the burrito didn’t even taste like a fish burrito. I won’t be going back. It wasn’t cheap either. Was pretty expensive.

I really enjoy the classic shrimp burrito at Rubio's. However today it was not the usual mouth watering classic shrimp burrito because it had only 5 small shrimp in it and an excess of bean dip. Hopefully the management will setup the employees with training videos on how to make that delicious classic shrimp burrito again...

Food was served on paper plates and tasted very dry and flavorless. Total waste of money. Wouldn't eat here again.

The place is immaculately clean when you walk in.. the staff is kind courteous and very welcoming.. and the food was great two thumbs up Evan was our host and server wonderful and brownies were excellent

This rubios has lots of issues. The salsa tastes like it has dirt in it. Then, I went to the bathroom and had yellow liquid drip on me. When I told the manager, she said she knows and already called for someone to fix it. I asked what it was because it was yellow and she said it’s from the rain but it hasn’t rained in weeks. I told her the restroom should be closed until they come and she just said they are coming to fix it. I feel disgusting after that whole experience.

I have never had such a condesending, snotty manager at any of the rubios countywide, as here. She definately lacks ability to take responsiblity for taking my order incorrectly.
Then, argueing with me about how it was my error, not hers, because she never makes any mistakes. I ordered the Coastal Fish Trio. She gave me the Shrimp Trio. The head cook did his part in a timely manner. I took it directly back to the counter when the order was brought to my table. I took 2 bites from one taco & looked at the plate, realizing it was the wrong plate. I described the tacos i normally purchase. Then, she argued that tacos are not made with white sauce only cheese crumbles. I expressed ive never had this order, all the tacos were wrong. She argued that Shrimp Trio never has changed. At that point, i realized, she was NOT speaking about Coastal Fish Trio. The order SHE typed in was Shrimp Trio. The order to the cook was Shrimp Trio. Perhaps if she had been focused on my order, instead of chatting with her co-worker over personal life issues, my order would have been taken properly. I understand why Rubios was empty during lunch hour.
The Poway area is full of other dining options.
I will not be revisiting this Rubios location. Their are options for Rubios management to replace poorly mannered employees.
Buisness-wise, the district manager, should replace her immediately, with an employee willing to use proper customer service manners and managers know how.
On a 1-10 star scale, this earns a 1 star.

Service is non-existent. Ask for a specific number of salsas for an online order. Call to confirm numbers of salsas. Pick up the order. What's not in there? The salsas. Congratulations for losing a customer over saving 43 cents on being stingy with the salsas.
