Tried Takhrai Thai for the first time and really enjoyed it. The fried dumplings were crispy and flavorful, and the drunken noodles had great heat and texture. The clay pot chicken was the standout—tender, savory with steamed rice
Service was quick and very courteous. Cozy spot with solid Thai flavors—definitely coming back.

Great food. Great lunch spot! The Penang Curry is delicious with your choice of protein and spice levels. With lunch you also get your choice of soup or salad... Always get the soup! It is very flavorful!

Perfect in every way. 👌 💙
The staff here are incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax for hours. There are plenty of charging outlets conveniently placed around the space, so you never have to worry about running out of battery while working or studying. The staff is not only energetic but also extremely friendly and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. While the breakfast menu isn’t extensive, every item is thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quiet morning or a productive space to read and study, this place is just perfect. I always look forward to coming back!
4 Small spring rolls for $10.95. What kind of business is this?!?
Terribly small portions we're grown adults not children
Tried Takhrai Thai for the first time last night. Great food and great owner. I felt like I was back in Thailand with the three things I tried (Pad Thai, Tom Kha, and sticky mango rice). Will definitely return and definitely recommend!

I ordered the fried tofu mixed vegetable stirfry, extra spicy. The spice was there, wish there was more vegetables like cabbage and broccoli to the ratio of tofu. I think I had 3 sprigs of broccoli, you could see in the pic, that was it. Wish more of this, squash and cabbage vs all the sprouts. Sauce was good, not the best I’ve had but tasty. Service was attentive and good, nice decorative Thai atmosphere.

Ordered carry out. Worst green curry I’ve ever had. Other food was not very good. Will not order from here again.

A complete let down. I have been going here for years becasue of how much I love there food. However, tonight was so bad I will not go back. The tiger cry was half the portion, served on iceburg lettuce. I had more lettuce
than meat on the plate. The meat was completly cold, it use to be served on a hot plate. Sad to know service and quality is gone. I wont be going back.

Provided the wrong food, 3 times. Used to be good.
Returned to our favorite Thai restaurant in our neighborhood. Had Tom kha kai, Drunken Noodles with Beef, and Hot Thai Basil with duck. Yum!

If you're looking for Thai in Poway, this is your best bet! I have been to every Thai place in poway, and this is the place to go for the most authentic Thai food, amazing Thai tea, and excellent staff. There are occasions when the spice level isn't always the same, where "spicy" is more "medium" than other days. But the food is always stellar!
