The Hop Stop in Poway is a fabulous place to hang with friends and family. The best selection around town for craft beer and the food is amazing. The tater tots are next level, and the staff so friendly. It's right by the old midland park, and just a great little spot to take the kids, chill out while they play and watch a game. You definitely get a good family vibe in this place.

The food was soooo good! We are so going back because of how good our meal was. The service... they bring the food out to you after you order at the counter. Everyone was prompt and friendly. The ambiance was very casual and family-friendly. I went into this restaurant on the recommendation of my son...I can't wait to go back!!! A must go to!!

I went here with my family, we sat outside and it was pretty good. I ordered the Chicken Birria Sandwich, which i wasn't very happy about since i wanted beef but they didn't have, it cam with au jus, but the chicken in the sandwich was so bland and it was horrible i stopped eating it cause it was so bad. My other family members got The HopStop Burger, he said it was so bland and the meat was bad. And the other person got the Chili cheese fries which were sooo good. Service was good. Wouldn't recommend place though.

Stopped by to grab some lunch. Staff very helpful and food was really good. Sat outside with an umbrella for shade. Looking forward to going back on a Sat for music.Parking: As long as you aren't visiting the same day as the farmers market (I believe Saturdays) there is lots of parking.

Since I had to go to this place for an event, I couldn't help but take my dog to this pup friendly establishment! Love the outdoor patio, milk bone treats, and water bowl for your dog! Staff is super friendly and I like that this place is in Old Town Poway. Fave Item: Ube Beer! I've not seen this in many places, and I completely love the taste of Ube in Draft form! It's not mentioned anywhere in Yelp, and I'm surprised! Tips: Happy Hour M-Th 4-6PM Trivia Night every Monday! They also serve breakfast.

Excellent burger, fries and service. First time going there and had one of the best burgers in a long time. The French fries were just out of the fryer. I judge a place on how hot their French fries are and they were super. The burger had great flavor on a brioche bun with fresh tomato and lettuce. Brandon prepared our food and was just all around a great person. Everyone there was great. I can wait to go back again. The outdoor atmosphere is wonderful. I wish we had gone there soon. My new favorite place in Poway. Thanks Hop Stop for being so cool and yummy.

Such a fun brunch spot! You order at the bar inside (great bartenders/servers)! We tried the canned mimosas but preferred ours the traditional way. The outside sitting area was fun for the kids to play while we waited for our food. Large tables and space in between them so it was easy to get around. Water stations were so nice and convenient! The fountain soda area was also out side and accessible, kids loved getting their own drinks! We will be back!
Came across this place when we were looking for a bite between events at a track meet. Food was fantastic, employees were super friendly. Will definitely be back if we are in the area. We got a breakfast burrito and avocado toast didn't try any of the drinks, but we will next time.

We went here on a Sunday for brunch. The vibes and overall atmosphere were so good we decided to stay here for lunch as well. All the food we ordered was fantastic. However, the pozole stole the show though. The service was fast, friendly, and super informative of everything they had on tap. We will 1000% be back!

Location and atmosphere amazing!!! Great music! Rick Harchol is fantastic! Drinks are great!!!! Love kombucha!!! Need more gluten free options…. GF bread for $2 more maybe? It’s poway so we’re a little high maintenance lol! Also maybe bigger portions? It’s really hit and miss with the portions sizes. Some are great like the burger and fries. Some like the poke are absurdly small like you are at some Boujeee restaurant. Just ask so you aren’t surprised. Overall atmosphere and service 10+. Food could use a bit of improvement. Maybe some fish tacos?!?!?
