Update: Went back with a friend for lunch and got their spicy tonkatsu ramen and bulgulgi bowl combo again. Price was increased to $19.99 now. I had the big bowl of ramen for lunch and took the bulgulgi rice bowl home for my dinner later that night. The spicy tonkatsu was really good. It wasn't too spicy and had a very rich creamy tonkatsu broth. Very yummy!
The tonkotsu ramen and bulgulgi bowl combo consists of a full size bowl of ramen and a small bowl of rice with bulgulgi. The ramen was ok but service was great. Very friendly staff and our waitress was so attentive. She's friendly and took care of our party.

We’ve lived in Poway for years and this is one of our favorites. High quality food, regardless of which dish you choose, super friendly staff and the atmosphere feels like a cozy little place you might find in Japan. Always look forward to coming here, have never been disappointed!

Fresh and delicious sushi rolls. Tempura mixed app was good but tempura sauce wasn't what I expected and on the sweet side. Chicken fried rice was good as well with carrots, green beans, and flavorful.

It had been a while since my last visit, and I noticed the ownership had changed. The original flavor remained mostly the same, and there were many new menu items. Overall, the taste was excellent—but what impressed me even more was the outstanding service. I was very satisfied and definitely plan to visit regularly.

This is a convenient and nice local place to get Japanese rice bowls, ramen and bento boxes. They also have Korean food which is rather tasty. Nice selection of beer and sake.

I ordered the 11:30am pick-up special lunch box, selecting the salmon poke and kimchi pork. While the salmon poke was great, I found the kimchi pork to be very disappointing. There was an overwhelming amount of kimchi and very little pork. However, everything else in the bento was delicious and well-prepared.

I like their portion to begin with. The old place we used to go in Scripps ranch is making their donkatsu (entree) in mini size (with the higher price!) We tried here and are happy. The waitress was really really kind and we enjoyed our dinner.

Found this place by accident, but was pleasantly surprised by the service, quality of food and value. I choose the dinner special spicy tonkatsu Ramen with a spicy tuna bowl. Our server Victoria went above and beyond to make our first experience memorable. Constantly checking our water levels and asking if we needed anything. I definitely recommend this place. Excelente servicio, delicioso la comida, me gustó mucho como atendió Victoria es muy amable. Gracias
