Best Veal I ever had in my life. Haven’t been in years but I miss this joint very much.

We had a great dinner on a Thursday night with excellent service. They had a private event on the night we went so we had to stay on the patio which was a little chilly at night but the staff fired up the heaters to ensure it was comfortable. Food was very good and the service was excellent. We had the mussels appetizer Brodetto di Cozze which was very good, brazed beef ravioli special also good, Salmone ai Carciofi - Atlantic Salmon, and Sea Bass special. Make sure you make reservations as they tend to be very busy especially on weekends.

Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. Service sucked. Our waiter was at our table twice at the beginning then we had to beg the manager for stuff for the rest of dinner. The busser provided better service than any of them.

I've been coming here for a very long time, we used to go to the one in Del Mar. All the workers plus the owners take care of everyone.

Yook my wife there for Valentines day, the tables were so close together we could hardly move. The tables around us even complained about being so close. Do not go on a special day because they herd you in like cattle. The food was good, drinks were overpriced. Won't go back.

Server was kind of dismissive about food allergies and ignored us for a greater part of our meal because he was also working the bar (he was much more kind and enthusiastic to his patrons at the bar than to us). Food was mediocre at best. Too much pasta on the menu. Bruschetta appetizer was the only saving grace of our meal. Overpriced too, it over $220 for 4 people. Will not be returning. Seemed fairly clean at least.

Tried pizza margharita and it wasn't good.. definitely not worth $20 bucks .. the crust seemed like store bought and stale .. it kept crumbling into pieces ..

I grew up in the Boston area where Italian food was Ah-maz-zing, and so was the ambiance. If you want to feel that in So Cal, visit Villa Capri. The food is fresh, the bread just came out of the oven, and they always have interesting specials and the wait staff is very attentive. In the summer, you should sit on the patio with a negroni or a glass of white wine and enjoy the people watching. It reminds me of home every time.

My parents recently celebrated a milestone anniversary. I wanted to arrange to pay for their bill. Kyle at Villa Capri made the process quick, easy, and efficient over the phone at my request. My parents were thrilled with the surprise and I appreciated Kyle’s help in making that happen. They enjoyed the salmon (regular menu item) and sea bass (a special, not a permanent menu item) and loved their chocolate mousse dessert which was presented in a goblet and dressed with whipped cream and a strawberry. I send my sincere gratitude to Kyle and Villa Capri for making their anniversary pleasant and extra special!
