A Ramona classic.Everything you want in your favorite dive bar. Cold beer, friendly bartenders, welcoming people. No food, clean, whatever the sport-of-day is on the TV's, plenty of space.

Interesting local dive bar in the sleepy town of Ramona. It was perfect for what it was which was to get some cheap beers and play some Golden Tee.

If you like dive bars then this is your spot. The Turkey Inn is the oldest licensed bar in San Diego if I'm correct. There are always locals frequenting the Turkey and on weekends it fills with people going to and coming from Julian. The bar is owned by a Clamper, a member of E Clampus Vitus so fellow Clampers are always welcome!Satisfactory!!

The owner of this bar is a racist, misogynist who kicks people out of the bar when he doesn't like the music the PAYING patrons play on the jukebox. Then takes the person's drink and still makes them pay for it. Would not recommend if your skin color is anything other than white. Not an asset to the community.

What can I say about a place called turkey inn. I don't have much to say except if you go to jail and they have a bar. This is it. That's a compliment I swear. Bartender could give two sh*ts that I was there. But my 3 drinks were 13.00 I call that a win and I wasn't bothered also a win. Take my money take my tip and we are good . Did I use the bathroom? No. Weird I want to also no

The Interesting Man

CERTAIN bartenders that work here are disingenuous and will both outright refuse service if they don't like you (you don't HAVE to like your customers, but that does not mean you can refuse to do the job you are paid for.) and also straight up try to lie to your face in a vain attempt to manipulate you and deflect blame when you have a concern about the service you received.I attempted to bring my concerns to the owner, but the owner is an armchair owner/operator who refuses to handle customer concerns about how they are treated, and doesn't hire a manager to do so in their stead, even concerns that put the establishment in REAL, serious legal liability. Like, liability so bad that you could be personally fined TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars out of pocket per violation and with enough strikes even have your business license to operate suspended should someone decide to bring legal charges like I could have forward.I simply wanted an apology - That's it! - and I wasn't even given THAT courtesy. As an owner of several successful businesses, if an employee told me something like THIS, I would be FLYING there same day if I had to in order to deal with it. And I can't even get a simple phone call from the guy to apologize that one of his staff engaged in flagrantly illegal activity under both state and federal law.And people wonder why the locals around town tell you to avoid this place like the plague - *Some* (not all) employees are just downright awful to their patrons and an owner who doesn't care about their own business. 5/5 if you want to be respected AND valued as a customer and patron, go across the street to Red White & Brews or next door to Smoking Cannon Brewery for a SIGNIFICANTLY better experience.

If you're looking for a great dive bar with ridiculously cheap but good drinks and hilarious conversations, get your butt to The Turkey!!! I've grown up spending a good amount of time in Ramona and I have enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere since my cousin Adam took me here when I turned 21! It's a legendary spot and I highly recommend it!!Did y'all know they have the 2nd oldest liquor license in San Diego?!? Yep, history right derr, right derr!! Get in there and cheers!!

Vintage bar in downtown Ramona. The bartender made us great drinks at reasonable prices. Any bar hop in Ramona should include this location!
