Pan fried pork buns have a bit of soup inside but the steamed & fried texture make them difficult to handle. Fried shrimp was excellent. Passion fruit green tea was worth it. Looking forward to visiting again.

This dumplings house has a larger and tastier variety than most. The food comes out fast. You have to order up front, which means you can leave as soon as you are done eating.

Visiting from out of town. Dropped in for dinner to go. Food was excellent. It was very busy and staff was pleasant throughout. I would recommend.

Food was amazing, but the staff could be a little more friendlier.

On the way to Koreana Plaza, out of the corner of my eye, I saw 88 Bao Bao. I thought to myself I'll drop by and get some dumplings for dinner on my way home, and I did just that... I ordered pan fried pork potstickers, pork and leek dumplings, pork and vegetable dumplings, pork, shrimp, and vegetable dumplings, and bbq pork steamed buns (2 orders). Portions were on the small side, it ran about $70. I would have liked to see larger servings for sure. Service was fine. No other customers were in the place when I popped in, so it would be tough not to give okay service. The place is decorated with a nice Asian theme. I'm not going to be in a hurry to return, but I won't avoid the place.

01/29/2024 at 8:02 pm., an employee of the institution refused to visit the toilet, in her opinion should I go to the bushes? I didn't expect such a reception.

The noodle is good, and the teriyaki chicken is good. I like the eggrolls too.

Foods kinda mid not bad just meh. its not authentic cuisine but if you want a fast mea this is it. you have to order before you are seated and my chili oil was missing the spoon so im wondering how other customers had to get it and that raised a sanitary concern idk if they change the chili oil daily. the variety of food was less than i thought and once i showed up i was just kinda of disappointed. i ordered a drink and they added jelly when i didnt ask for it. mainly its just the attention to detail for me

I recently dined at 88 Bao Bao in Rancho Cordova with a friend on a Friday at 6 pm. You must order before sitting. It wasn't too busy so we had the chance to study the menu without being rushed. Ordering before sitting allowed us a leisurely menu debate. We tried the pork xiao long Bao, chow mein, pork and shrimp shumai, popcorn chicken, and wontons with chili. Quick cashier service, a numbered table system, and prompt delivery made the experience smooth. Fresh, hot, and generously portioned, the food was fantastic. The chow mein was a personal favorite, and my friend loved the wontons in chili oil. Clean restaurant, quick service, and delicious food make this place a winner. Despite spending around $85 (worthy every penny, in my opinion), generous portions left us with leftovers. 88 Bao Bao consistently delivers, making it one of my favorite dumpling spots in the area. I'll definitely be back.
