Not good because it's closed. So, finally tried it. It was sad inside because it really hadn't been updated since it's former ID as a Dickys BBQ. However, I had a French dip and my wife and I both agreed it was awesome! We went back the next week and the place was closed.Sandwich: 5 stars. But sadly, closed. So zero stars.

If you're a fan of French dips, hot sandwiches, and delicious cake, you have to check out Baguette Up in Rancho Cordova. This place is a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit. The French dips and hot sandwiches are out of this world. The bread is fresh and crispy, and the fillings are flavorful and delicious. The staff really knows how to make a great sandwich, and they're happy to help you find the perfect one for your tastes. But that's not all - Baguette Up also has some of the most delicious cake I've ever had. It's moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. It's the perfect ending to a great meal. The staff at Baguette Up is incredibly friendly and provides amazing service. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The location is also fantastic - it's easy to find and has plenty of parking.Overall, Baguette Up is a must-visit for anyone looking for great French dips, hot sandwiches, and cake in Rancho Cordova. The food is amazing, the service is great, and the location is convenient. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

I'm so glad we found this little spot, every time we have gone it has been pretty good. The ladies working there were super kind and let us know they were running a little behind. The drive thru is definitely faster than going inside. But they don't have the proper staffing to meet their demand so we were understanding of the wait. The food tasted great, every-time it has tasted fresh and mouthwatering! It's not perfect, but they seem to care about their customers and I appreciate that.

'23/2 1st customer/review:-- Slightly difficult, almost-corner location to get to (and get back to) ~#1 busiest intersection in Rancho Cordova. Plenty of free parking, but odd from front door direction.-- Nice, big, sunny, open dining room in this fast-casual restaurant.-- Yes, drive thru. But that said, like most low-end fast food restaurants, only one register worker and one cook. So SUPER slow, disjointed service by overextended workers. This made for not only very slow delivery of food and drink (dining room self serve Coke products soda fountain was out of order) for 2 patrons at 1:15p on a Tuesday; but also incorrect (fries came out plain instead of ordered/paid garlic, the onion/mayo special order went undone). When they did slow down (i.e. place was dead), the register worker came around to the tables every 15 minutes asking if anyone needed anything.-- Eclectic menu offering sliced tri-tip and sliced turkey sandwiches, BLT's, hamburgers, party melts, chicken (tender) sandwiches--sporting four different bread types. Plus chicken taquitos and corn dogs. Sides are french fry varieties (inc garlic, & sweet potato) and onion rings. Dessets are chocolate brownie and carrot cake. Drinks are water, unsweetened ice tea, and Coke products soda fountain. That's it. Nothing more (no ice cream, other fried goods, etc.)-- Bottom line: VERY underwhelming for the price ($27 for 2 with NO leftovers). The bacon was paper thin, the produce paltry, the fries/onion rings fast-food average. Perhaps worth the trip if one is hankering for a fast food tri-tip sandwich, taquito, corn dog? Not worth the burger or chicken options, as there's much better fast-casual options in town (well, the same center actually).

The garlic fries are SO GOOD. My French dip sandwich was just ok. Not much on it. I came towards the end of the day so maybe I got skimped.

Saw they opened and gave em a shot. For the lady she scooped French Dip Tri-tip & onion rings while I got a cowboy tri tip combo with garlic fries. The staff was super nice since I failed to make mine a combo at first but made the upgrade while paying. Dr. Pepper had quite a bit of ice, and was consumed before the sandwich was halfway done. Bummer. Suggest asking for "light ice" if ya thirsty. The sides: Onion rings were pretty much "fast food standard" but the garlic fries were lit. Def order those. The French Dip was "meh" and I didn't mind the Tri-tip but I have left this in my drafts folder or reviews for about a year. Haven't gone back.

Highly disappointed with my experience here. It was my first time trying this place thinking it could be fun. When attempting to order some of the things that I saw on the Google map page, I was informed they were no longer available. Which is fine, I’m willing to try something else since I’ve tried nothing here so far, so I ordered the French dip sandwich, the garlic fries, and the tri-tip salad to share with a friend. My issue is after being serviced by the cashier, (Stephanie per the receipt) I notice she walked back to the kitchen, took one glove off to get the bags ready to put the food in. Then proceeded to put the glove that she wore at the cash register that already looked shiny to the knuckles, back on and went out of sight, then came back into site, closing the lid for my food and putting it in the bag. This was very confusing to me being that there were two other people there, and the other girl working literally looked like she was just pacing around. I really didn’t know how to respond in the moment so I just of asked if that was all of the staff and maybe they were just understaffed. I decided to just take my loss of $25 and maybe attempt to reheat the sandwich and fries at home to 165° to kill germs but when it comes to the salad there’s no way to remedy that. I honestly wish that I just would’ve asked for a refund because upon getting to my destination, and trying to heat up the sandwich and fries, I realize we don’t even have the dipping sauce, which is a main component of a French dip sandwich.I would not recommend this place what so ever.

yo yo yo Baguette Up is fresh, tasty and affordable! Prices I think are very reasonable! They make everything from scratch "Baguette Up" so even the bread is made from scratch. You can taste the quality! For quality ingredients and fries and drink for around $12-$13 tax included is a fair deal!

The food is good. I love their fries and their sourdough. However, the cashier has filthy nails. He rarely gets our order right. They forget simple things. They forget the au jus with the sandwich which is terrible because it's a very dry sandwich. They forget the fries. We have ordered garlic fries and they gave us regular. When we order large they give us medium. If we ask for light ice in our sodas then they fill the cup to the top with ice. After going here for almost a year and always having something go wrong, I never want to take my family here again. (You might be thinking "Why did you keep coming back?". We went here over and over again because it's close to our house.) Furthermore, one time their cashier forgot to charge us for a sandwich and the older woman blamed us for them forgetting to charge us after getting our order wrong and forcing us to go back through the drive through so they could make it right. It was embarrassing because when we came back a week or two later they told us it was our fault for not looking at the receipt and insisted that we pay them for the sandwich they forgot to charge us for. We thought maybe it was done in good faith after months of them making mistakes. In any restaurant establishment it's the person who's in charge of the POS that is held responsible for making sure their til is balanced. If I ever had the nerve to recommend this place to anyone then I'd have to do it with a warning that their order probably won't be right based off of that cashier always being employed there despite doing an awful job. I have to wonder, does the owner even care?

Amazing sandwiches!!! I stumbled upon this spot and had no idea what to expect. Everything was halal so I had so many choices. I finally went with the tri-tip sandwich combo and upgraded to garlic fries. When I say it was good it was GOOD!!!! The portion was huge and I could only eat half a sandwich. Thankfully I came with a friend so we split it and were both very happy. My third friend tried the Caesar salad which she said was delicious too. I will definitely be back, I want to try every single thing on their menu. What an absolute gem!

100% Halal ladies and gentlemen. By far the best Brisket sandwich I have had in my life.. Cynthia took care of us as if we were royalty. I can not tell you how tasty the food is. It is too die for. I know, I know, the location is ok? But the food is top notch. Spend extra dollars to get extra meat and cheese. You will be begging for more. I wish this restaurant all the best and pray for their restaurant to thrive.Ameen. Hopefully you all come to Elk Grove one day. Kind regards from Tarik and Sharik. PS: Cynthia is the heart and soul of that restaurant . Will be back for more amazing food.

Super impressed. Everything was made fresh. Best kind of fries. Food was yummy. Fast service. And friendly staff. Found out that it's the only one and not a chain. Definitely will be going back here again. Support small business!
