A good environment is worth experiencing first and then judging the good or bad! Friends who want to go can try
An absurd disappointment, and possibly the worst Marriott hotel I've ever stayed at. Not even so much as a drop of recognition for my Ambassador status, rooms that haven't seen a refresh any time this century, there's not even Netflix in the rooms like every other Marriott property. Avoid this place like this plague.
Strange Marriott is charging for room WI-FI in this day & age. Already a $pendy spot, ($19 for smallish wedge salad) so why not just comp the Wi-Fi for all guests like cheaper hotels do. No need to nickel & dime like that. And how bout a placard to ask housekeeping to not change sheets & towels, good way to save water etc…
The staff are trying hard, in fact they were better than most of the receptionists in most hotels I’ve visited recently. They were courteous and helped me with additional creamer for the coffee in the room. The cleaner nicked them the next day leaving me with two again but I suspect regulations are indeed coming from the owners. The hotel furniture, fixture and fittings are old. The rooms and hallways needed to be refurbished 10 years ago. When I mentioned that I was staying there to people I met on business, they said it was probably the worst Marriott in North America, it is definitely the worst I’ve ever stayed in.
I had lots of issues while staying, first had permission to bring in food many times to the bar area and then ordered drinks. Then was told recently that it was not allowed and never was. Lot's of internet issues, had to get support almost every other day for the two weeks I stayed here.
Great staff!!! Clean hotel
The rooms are very large and comfortable. The place is old school and although it could use a remodel, they seem to take good care here. Room and facility is clean and the staff very friendly. The room I had included a coffee maker, nice desk area, a small refrigerator and comfortable beds and chairs. No daily housekeeping at this time, but the Marriott breakfast in the restaurant was very nice, Staff in the restaurant were all great, friendly and helpful. Easy freeway access without any traffic noise. Id absolutely stay again when in the area.
On a business trip for a week, travelling from Virginia to California. Pros: Comfortable bedding Good location Cons: No free breakfast No free wi-fi No free parking Road noise because next to highway Long lines for check in on weekends. Thought I would faint after a long day of travel.
Pros: The hotel was clean, room was nice & spacious, the beds were comfortable, and it has a decent pool + hot tub. Cons: No free internet(!) or breakfast, and they charge you to park in their unsecured outdoor lot. The biggest “con” was that within 10 minutes of paying their $10 parking fee, I went back out to my car to grab my earbuds, and witnessed my car being actively broken into. They shattered my rear windshield, so now I have an additional $350 cost to deal with. Needless to say, it also ruined my weekend trip and made the long drive home extremely uncomfortable. If a hotel is going to charge their customer’s a fee to park in their open-air lot, IMHO they should hire a security guard, or install additional lighting, or whatever measures are available and reasonable to deter theft. They should probably do these things regardless actually. I won’t be returning to this Marriott…
We were Caldor fire evacuees so we found a room at Courtyard Marriott. The staff was so accommodating to the fire evacuees by offering a 30% discount on rooms that we were renting by the day, not knowing how long we would have to stay. When we asked to have the room cleaned after a few days, we were told that they clean the rooms after guests leave, but were willing to clean ours since we didn't know how long we would be staying. The room had a mini fridge but I wish I had known we could have requested a microwave. We were relieved to find that they had all recommended Covid-19 health and safety measures in place, and an update describing the measures the hotel was taking. While we were there we enjoyed spending time in the spacious lobby and well-tended grounds and pool area. The hotel is well situated, close to the freeway and in a clean business park where we felt safe to take daily walks.

BED BUGS, just drove home instead of staying here. And even though I showed them pics and did not stay, she couldn't guarantee me a refund. In fact there wasn't a soul on site until Monday that's allowed to approve refunds. Disappointing, they didn't even care like they knew they had this infestation & still booked people.
Skip the pasta with marinara sauce at the restaurant. Icky.
it's a nice quiet place with friendly professional staff.
Want a better front desk clerk. She gave me a hole in the wall experience.
Worst experience at a Marriot (or any other) hotel ever. Mold in the shower, broken glass on the light, dirty hallways, it took hotel staff three different rooms to settle is into a "clean" one (which was the worst with mold). The rooms did not appear to be properly cleaned, there was some kind of object protruding from beneath the sheets (we slept in sleeping bags on top of the bed). Still have not heard back from management and this experience was more than a month ago!
