Fusion Bistro

Delicious fusion food. We came to this place based on the reviews and so glad we came. The chef Jaggi prepared Amritsari kulcha for us and it was one of the best we had in a long time. The desi paneer pizza was delicious.
The staff was courteous and gave very good service. We are definitely coming back next time we're in town.

What a surprise! The first surprise was the place itself. 4.6 average reviews and it’s this fairly sterile mini strip mall hole in the wall with only a few tables. Clearly the majority of their business is takeout. We sat down for lunch and ate a wonderful Indian dinner for lunch. That was our second surprise. The food was tea good! We ordered entirely too much because the servings are so generous. Fortunately we chose puri puni (or maybe puni puri?) for an appetizer. It’s very light and maybe better summer fare than midwinter, but good. The lamb biryani was very flavorful but light on lamb. The chicken tikka masala was excellent. But the saag paneer and the garlic naan were nearly perfect. What a treat. And our server was delightful.
The prices are excellent for what you get.
I am never in Rancho Cordova but if I ever happen to drive past while hungry, I know where I’ll go!

This is by far the best Indian food I have had. The masala is exactly what I have been searching for. It has something different spice/flavor wise than normal Indian food that sets it a tier above most places.

This place has THE BEST butter chicken and garlic naan I’ve ever had. It’s so delicious I was honestly flabbergasted and I went back a second time just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. Well I can confidently say Fusion Bistro is really that good! Their butter chicken has the perfect blend of spice and flavor, the garlic naan is generously slathered in ghee and garlic. Staff is amazing and prices are reasonable too. This restaurant is so legit!!!

Recently ordered the special with 1 specialty pizza and 1 1-topping pizza.

The curry pizza (chicken Tikka masala) was EXCELLENT, and tied for 1st imo with Bollywood pizza in East Sac. Super flavorful

The 1-topping pizza was bad. It reminded me of the pizza you'd get at a venue for a children's birthday party. Barely any cheese, sauce was not good, and the crust didn't have the crisp of their curry pizza.

In the end, they're firstly an Indian spot though, so I don't want to rate harshly based on their poor regular pizza. Because, again, the curry pizza is VERY good.

Update: Theyve DEFINITELY improved the non-curry pizza at this point. Better cheese, much more flavorful sauce, and the crust is closer to the buttery curry pizza crust.

The medium combination pizza was OK but it could be better with a reduced saltiness for me. First the onions, cut in small pieces, were overwhelmed and were layered on top of sauce or maybe mixed with it. I would just slice them and put them as one of the top layers. Even the green peppers were cut in small pieces. I would want a toasty taste of the onion and green pepper. The crust was airy. The sauce was good. Next time when I order, I’ll ask them to reduce salt and onion and more crispiness.
