Halal Fried Chicken

I ordered a bbq beef burger, that came with onion rings and 3 piece fried chicken that came with mac n cheese. The beef patty had no taste and was undercooked. Even the onion rings were soggy. The fried chicken was ok and mac n cheese was bland. Took only one bite of burger and left it.

My family and I visited the restaurant yesterday evening and ordered two crispy chicken sandwiches with fires on the side, one for me and one for my daughter. A four piece platter with fries on the side for my husband. Unfortunately, the crispy chicken was dry and cold, making it utterly disgusting. My husband’s four piece platter with fries was equally disappointing, it was also cold. The fires and the chicken appeared to have been cooked in old oil, which contributed to the overall unpleasant taste of the food. It’s disheartening to compare the quality of the food to what it was about four years ago, when it was much fresher. To make matters worse, we all felt sick when we got home and have been experiencing stomach problems ever since.

This place is very good and consistent with their food. My family loves eating here we get it often. But they don’t really like giving out the sauces… It has been a consistent problem and I hope they fix that or either start serving larger portions of the sauces.

BEWARE - ALL OF THE CHICKEN IS SPICY

After trying just a small bite, I tried to return my order because I had said that I can't eat hot spicy food. Two employees swore up and down that my fried chicken order was not spicy. They convinced me that it was the temperature.

After a long drive home, tried it again and gagged on the spices. Gave it to my husband who also confirmed the spiciness.

First time at this establishment, it's a mom and pop, which is good. They offer tasty chicken at reasonable prices. They also offer hamburgers and chicken sandwiches which I did not try yet. If i'm in the Sacramento area in the future, I will be back for more.

Halal Fried Chicken never disappoints! The crispy shrimp and hot fries were super tasty. Fresh, crunchy, and full of flavor. Highly recommend!
