I ordered butter chicken for my daughter and goat curry for myself. Both were great and my daughter loved her order. This is her first butter chicken experience. The take out experience was great.

Food: fresh Indian spices. Raita included. They brought me a wrong item but gave it anyway, then brought right one. The portions were large. Birani and Allo gobi, buttered naan all great. Samosas were OK but not best in class. Many Indian and Pakistani people streamed in. The table filled soon. The carry out was constant. Atmosphere clean, couteous, and polite; decor was very basic. It was reasonably priced. I will make it a regular. Families and friends were in abundance. Definitely homey. Do again for sure. Very good food. Enough for a second or third meal. Dishes very suitable for sharing.Vegetarian options: Aloi gobi was great!

This is my family's go-to restaurant for Indian food. The food is excellent! The service is great, and the atmosphere is decent, albeit a bit "tired."So we've tried several dishes from here and they're great! I'm particularly fond of the Channa Masala, however there are so many that have such complex, satisfying flavors. All have been great so far. We've found that medium spice is best, as mild can mute the flavors some. Overall though, the food is outstanding. The service here is pretty great. It's usually pretty empty so they server(s) are pretty attentive. The atmosphere is pretty and relaxed. The tables are kinda beat up and the booths are worn. It's not fancy here, but the quality of the food vastly overshadows the environment. I would undoubtedly recommend it here. I've found it on average, better than 5 other local comparable restaurants.

Ordered delivery on a whim after a week or two of eating vegetarian. This might be my new go-to Indian place. Paneer dishes are great, naan is great.

Usually don't like writing bad reviews--unless it is really bad. If you love Indian food, this ain't it. Used to be good. Don't know if they changed ownership over last couple years or what? Went in for an early, midweek-week lunch. Waited over 30 mins for food--we were the only ones there. Ordered lunch special with garlic naan. Butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, dal and channa masala were all the worst, most bland, lackluster Indian food we have ever had. Plain naan was received, but we waited so long did not send back. My husband ordered hot spice, mine was supposed to be medium spice. Both had ZERO spice. Nobody speaks good English, either. We almost walked out before food arrived and now we wish we had. There are so many decent Indian food restaurants and have never had anything this bad. WOW. We won't ever go back and this was an occasional stop for us over the years when we were in the area. Too bad, as we really enjoyed our past visits. Save your money and your tastebuds. Nobody else was there for a reason. YIKES!

Customer service is horrible, we were the only people there and no one was helpful. They got our order wrong and we had to chase them down to get help.

I always come here because the food is delicious however today the food we got tasted old, the Himalayan samosas and they were still frozen In the middle. The chicken we got was dry and cold. The environment was dirty. Restrooms were gross and had pee all over the seat. The sever we had was not very friendly, for how much I spent the food should be fresh.

Yummy Butter Chicken and Rice with Garlic Naan Bread. Enough for two full meals! I'll definitely be back.

The food is tasty, their lunch special is a good way to be able to try various dishes. You get to choose two dishes and it comes with rice and nan. Friendly service as well!

Worst place ever to go and get food from. No salad or any sauce was given and the non veg platter was the worst one i ordered. They should improve the quality or else close it.

Good food, and if you tell them you don't want it spicy hot, they will make it mild, unlike some East Indian places we have been. Mango Lassi is very good. (We are old people and can't eat a large meal, so we always share. That's why we spend so little per person.)

I love love love Indian food! It's so delicious. I have loved it for many years. But this was my first time ordering through door dash and in Sacramento. I usually had my Indian food at place in the Bay Area. I never once had any issues with the food. But my curiosity got the best of me in Sacramento. I ordered my fav chicken tikka masala. And I instantly felt sick as I digested the food. I do not want to blame the cook at all, but I was so sick to my stomach I had gotten the case of the runs. I was so sad. I love Indian food but it could be a bad batch or maybe my stomach may not tolerate I am not sure. But I felt like my money instantly went down the drain. I was so sad. I don't like to give bad reviews but this was not a good experience. I would like to give it another try but I don't want to end up getting sick again.

If your in the Rancho Cordova area, you have to come and visit Indian Spice Restaurant! The food here tasted amazing and the service was great! I came here with a friend, and we ordered the Samosas as an appetizer. These Samosas were huge! Samosas is a must when going to an Indian Restaurant! I also decided to go with the Lamb Lunch Plate, and the portions here was huge! It came with curry and some type of vegetable curry. The lamb was very good, the only thing I would complain about is I ordered very spicy and this wasn't spicy at all. In addition the water tasted funny. I would rate this 3.5 stars but I rounded up because the food tasted good and the service, would recommend if your into Indian Food and in the area.

Family favorite. I think inflation may have had them cut down on the portions they use to give. I miss having left overs the next day. Still a good dinner choice. ?
