I'm not sure why but the cheese doesn't melt properly on the food. I think the beans aren't hot enough to melt it. It could also be an imitation cheese that doesn't melt. Now this is only the Jimboys on Folsom Blvd. I never saw that problem with the Jimboys on Stockton Blvd. Also the menu is different for each Jimboys.
The food is always tasty. A moest, simple place to have a bite to eat and enjoy a few moments with Self!

Loved this spot! We had it while staying at a nearby hotel. So delicious. Ate it twice!!! Great value, kind staff.
Wow, great tacos! We've recently moved to the area and wanted to try the food at Jimboy's. My dining partner and I were not disappointed. Our first meal was around lunchtime and we kept it simple - we each ordered three ground beef tacos. Neither of us were disappointed! The tacos are excellent. In particular, I liked the dusting of Parmesan cheese on the outer shell of the tacos. Absolutely delicious. We will return! There are a number of items that I would like to try in the future, including the new Texas Chili, the chicken tacos, and the carnitas taco.
