Food is good. I've been here 3 times and twice my order wasn't right. I ordered Togo so by the time I realized it was too late. I checked my receipt which was correct which means the kitchen messed up.

Drive through setup is inconvenient to get through. Ordered half soup half sandwich. Soup was cold and sandwich was put together and wrapped very sloppy. 1/3 of it was in the wrapper not the on the sandwich. So disappointing Panera is not like it used to be! Won’t be back, and I’ll spread the word around the building here at work.

Always fresh and the app makes it so easy and convenient to order and sit or order to go. Also, there is a drive-thru if you want to pick up and go without getting out the car.

Livin' the drive thru life. This Panera in Rancho Cordova, is one of the few that have a drive thru. And it's not too far or cumbersome to get to from Highway 50. Easy enough to get to. But the drive thr ordering/pickup window is physically immediate after the right turn. So if you don't angle your car close enough, you'll be stretch armstronging. And it doesn't help if you have TRex arms.
I've been stopping by here occasionally throughout the years. Customer service has been great. But the food quality is a hit or miss. On my last visit, the BLT was a dismal representation of a sandwich. It had two thin, short, see thru, microwave type bacon. But they served the bacon ice cold. Interesting Panera choice. The lettuce was an arugula salad mix. Another interesting Panera choice. The tomato slice was super thin. The bread was delicious, but doesn't make up for the lackluster sandwich. We also ordered a half order of Greek salad and half chicken Napa salad sandwich. The salad was chock full of the hard core of inner romaine lettuce. Odd the romaine had the core without the leafy green part as it seemed to be sliced off. Another interesting Panera choice. The chicken Napa is my favorite all time sandwich at Panera. But like the BLT, it was a sad sandwich. It was loaded with arugula salad mix but where's the chicken ?!? It had hardly any chicken salad on the sandwich.

Panaera overpriced for what it is as Urban Plates is in town. They charge much less than Panera Bread although Panera gives you a bag of chips, an apple, or a piece of bread beside what you ordered. Panera could up their game with filtered water from a place that is not a soda machine. They could also fix their computer system where they call me by the initial of my first name. (That could not be changed due to their system.) I paid $14.66 for what I ordered at Panera today which was 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup.... but Urban Plates charged me $10.00 for the same 3 days ago. Again, Panera gives you the free chips, free apple, or free bread. Also Panera has a little better environment which seems a little more peaceful. But, it is time to shop for restaurants while in this economy.

Holy cow!!! Did drive thru for lunch, got back to the office and this is what I saw.
I asked if they could slice my Apple, they did. And the Apple is so disgusting and rotten and they still gave it to me!
I’m shocked they have no shame visually seeing an obvious rotten apple and giving it to me! Yuk!

Closed and sold out of everything at 9 when it says they are open until 10.
Service is good, I like the atmosphere, it’s clean. There are only a handful of items I will order from here because I find all the rest to be very bland. What I order I like so I do come here regularly. The reason I wanted to leave an updated review today was because of the bakery items. Please find a new way to store the bagels and other bakery items, they are almost always hard and dry when I get them.

Either we got such a shift, or choose another restaurant "panera bread" Perhaps this is the worst trip to a restaurant, from the rudeness of the staff, who mimicked my accent three times trying to point out the imperfection of my language, ending with rudeness during meals due to the fact that we took cups and poured some coffee into them, when in restaurants located in roseville or arden-arcade it is welcome. Not to mention rusty dishes and perfectly cold pecans without walnuts.

Food was good, ordering was...confusing, some ordered from a kiosk and others ordered from a clerk and there seemed to be no line!
