Got the bread pasta bowls. Flavor was there but pasta lacked sauce and bowl was a little dry.

Petali kept coming up in my restaurant searches as an Italian restaurant. I felt like some pasta so decided to drop in. They only had pizzas, bread bowls and sandwiches I decided on a meatball sandwich it was very disappointing did not like the bread the meatballs or the miserly used tomato sauce on it. The sandwich was very dry I asked for some extra sauce and was told that Italians don’t use much sauce. Notice to cook we are not in Italy. Did not finish it but still had indigestion all evening.
I wish there could be a lower rating. Worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life. Didn't even end up taking my food, after being verbally abused and insulted from man at register. I don't know how that business is even open with such disgusting behavior coming from an employee at front register. There was only one person cooking and guy at register, but it's not like they busy and cranky, there was only one other customer in the place, now i see why. No way i would recommend or go there again myself. The worst experience ever !

Recently my wife and I stopped by Petali Italian Restaurant.
We were delighted to find this gem of Italian cuisine!
The owners Mike and Vic, were gracious and friendly.
The food was superb!
The decor is inviting and creates a relaxing atmosphere.
We will make this restaurant our go to spot for amazing Italian food.

We came in just after it opened today. The decor is cute. The food was delicious - and generously portioned! The fellows behind the counter were pleasant. And I enjoyed trying the red beer soda, which was a first for me. I would happily return for more Alfredo (with chicken parm) next time I find myself in the Sacramento area. I appreciated that the chicken was chopped into bite sized pieces, so I didn't have to struggle to cut it on my pasta. My husband said his lasagna was pretty good too!

I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and I was impressed! Everything was hot and portioned correctly, That gave it an amazing, hot & cheesy Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. I would give it a try and recommend it for a date or dinner and I can't wait to try the pasta for my final review.
