I'm modifying my review because of the bathroom stall doors. I was so unconformable that I'm not sure I'll come back. The top of the doors are fine, but the gap between the floor and door comes up to my knees. It's very easy to see someone actually sitting on the toilet. I've never seen anything like it. I told the staff about my observations. Hopefully, they will get longer doors.The food is really, really good. But the stall doors will keep me away.I had the slider and tender plate. OMG. I was dancing in my seat from how good the food was here. The fries are hot, spiced, and tender. The chicken is the best I've had in a long time, if not ever. Super flavorful, crispy outside, juicy, and tender chicken. I had the slider, tender and fries. It was nice to see that the seasoning heat can be adjusted from mild to 'Oh, My mouth is on fire'. I got the mild/medium heat. It was just right for me.

Expected different from the other chicken joints in Sacramento. Service good, food good, experience good. Only difference, not so crowded and not so much spice on the food. Could actually taste the meat. I'll give two wings up! ?

The food was good. Good portions and it was very spicy, ordered the hottest spice level tender, while the heat lived up to my expectations, unfortunately the thing that I’m looking for in a chicken tender is the outside crunch when you bite into it. Hopefully this isnt how it’s supposed to be normally because personally I feel that the crunchy surface of a chicken is the best part. I’ve been to Dave’s a lot before and while they serve smaller tenders than here, the crunch is present unlike the tenders here at Roostarz. I would love to go back here again but I’m worried that it might not be any better next time in terms of just my preference, but maybe that’s just me and I’m being overly picky.
