first time there today for a birthday with friends. I ordered the crab cakes, the were not good. They were not homemade, you can but what they served at a grocery store, sans the sauce and micro greens. very disappointed, was expecting an amazing lunch from all the reviews. The lobster ravioli my partner had was apparently good, but super small portion. Definitely not worth the money they charge. Also, one small cocktail and a coors (not cold, very limited beer choice) cost 18.95! Will not return.

Love this place. Cathy is the best waitress and makes it fun too! The food amazing and the ambiance is great too. It's like stepping into a different world. Love the captains room.

One of our favorite places to go for a special event! Quality is consistent over the years. Recommend lobster, clam chowder, salmon. The best asparagus I've ever had!

Always delicious food and friendly service. The filet and lobster were both tender and tasty.

We've always loved Rudys Hideaway. In the past always complete 5 stars across the board. This time some disappointments. Things that are important to us at a fine dining restaraunt. Went to paper napkins from cloth. Felt to us like we were at a lower quality restaraunt. My lobster, which I always get at Rudys, was dry like maybe it sat under warming lights all day? Not melted butter but melted margarine or something (?) served with my lobster. I like olive oil on my salad that I request to be brought to the table. Again, who knows?...a seed oil, corn oil or anything but olive oil. I always drink my water through a straw, yet I was served a glass with a lip smudge on the top of my glass. On the plus side...service was great. Seated about 8pm yet my husband's prime rib arrived very rare as he likes and requested and a beautiful huge cut. The chocolate moose that our server brought to me on the house, for my birthday was perfect in taste & texture. Come on Rudy's, along with the service & food quality, the small things really do matter.

Excellent food. Hubbys filet was undercooked but we got it corrected with no problems. My prime rib was AMAZING as always.

We went to Rudy's Hideaway for my wife's birthday. The food and service was incredible. My wife had the lobster tail and I had the Alaskan halibut. They were both very tasty and cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Katie could not have been more attentive. We have found a great local restaurant and will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed ourselves at Rudy's Hideaway. Food was delicious! We shared an appetizer, fried calamari. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back...highly recommend!

So we went to Rudy's today on a whim and last minute when our original dinner establishment failed to supply the restaurant with enough staff apparently to serve the 15 empty tables. So ones loss is another gain. And it was SOOOO worth it. We had to drive a bit further, but we are all so happy with what happened.

We did get into the restaurant about 45 minutes before closing so we know we had to get going. The male server was amazing. He was right on top of things dropping off bread as hot as hades. Drinks followed then our garlic cheese bread (which was lite and FIRE), then the chowder... Chowder wasn't the best I've had here. But still decent. But we didn't come here for the chowder! We ordered the Prime Rib with Lobster and Prime Rib with King Crab. The birthday boy had his lobster ravioli. We both ordered our Prime Rib MED RARE and got them MED RARE this late in the evening. Most restaurants you can only get Med at this late in the day... and the taste was amazing. The lobster was said to be excellent, She didn't share.. LOL. I had the King Crab. It was sooooo sweet! Nothing fishy tasting. Just the sweet taste of some King Crab. My son loved the Lobster Ravioli and really loved they had shrimp in the sauce along with the Ravioli's. He said it was the best hes had. I did my diligence and will share with you all these beautiful plates from Rudy's. Thanks Rudy's for making my sons 14th birthday an amazing experience. We will be back.
