Love this old-fashioned steak house. Food is excellent and service is very professional. The waiters are great like they were in the olden times and the bartenders know how to mix a fancy and tasty cocktail. I recommend this place to everyone who enjoys a good dining experience. It can be crowded on certain days and I would suggest reservations. Also, it isn't that large and there are some booths near the kitchen. Although I have lived in the area for over 60 years, this was my first visit to Rudy's Hideaway. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, and our experience could not have been better. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a wonderful, private booth. Our server was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The lobster was fantastic as was the dessert. Rudy's Hideaway was a great surprise for a couple of new customers. Looking forward to our next visit.
My wife and I went to Rudy's for our 49th anniversary. We enjoyed wonderful margaritas, and then she ordered the big lobster, and I had prime rib and lobster. All the food was excellent, and my one inch thick prime rib was a perfect medium rare. We shared a delicious banana cream pie for dessert. The service was superb, and all in all, a very nice evening. We will definitely be back!
