California Pizza Kitchen at Victoria Gardens

This was our first time dining here, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t go as well as we hoped. To start when we received our silverware, the butter knife had a piece of napkin stuck to it, which was unappetizing. We asked for a replacement, but we never got a a clean one.

We also ordered a cucumber drink, which took about 20 minutes to arrive. So, we decided to take it to go and asked for a to go cup when we received the cup it was dented and misshaped, which made it awkward to drink from. We asked for a new cup and it took them 10 minutes to bring it. It just didn’t feel like the level of service or attention to detail we expected.

Hopefully, this was just an off day, but it did make our first visit less enjoyable than we expected.

Austin was great. My family and I appreciated his customer service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at California Kitchen, and I must say it was a fantastic experience overall. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. From the fresh ingredients to the thoughtful presentation, every bite was a treat.

Our waitress, Jenifer, did a wonderful job, despite being tasked with covering both the bar and our table. While this understandably slowed her ability to get to us at first, she made up for it with her friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and professionalism when she did arrive. Her efforts were commendable given the circumstances.

The ambiance of the restaurant was also a highlight — warm, inviting, and perfect for an enjoyable meal. Despite the initial delays, the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere made this a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend California Kitchen for anyone looking for great food and a welcoming environment. Keep up the great work!

Came in on New years Eve for a quick bite. I only did appetizers. One word …WOW…. The Shishito peppers were awesome. The flavor is out of this world. Would like them to be on the menu permanently. Then I went to the Buffalo Cauliflower. Absolutely delicious. Could use a little more blue cheese crumbles on top. The chicken dumplings were the tastiest dumplings I have ever had. I ended up with the avocado club egg rolls. Try both the dips they are wonderful. My server/bartender was Savanna. She did an outstanding job taking care of my needs. Cheers and hats off to Stefanie and Savanna and the whole CPK STAFF for making my dinner experience enjoyable.

**Disappointing Dining Experience**

We waited 40 minutes for a table, which was understandable. However, the service after that was unacceptable. We waited over 15 minutes before anyone even offered us water. We had to ask for assistance. To top it off, they forgot a child's pizza and the adult burger was served with only 10 cold fries and unmelted cheese. But the burger flavor was decent. A truly disappointing experience.

I left my charge card in the payment folder. Our waitress took it to their office for safe keeping. I realized it was missing the next morning. I called CPK in Victoria Gardens about 7:50 AM. Ruben answered the phone and helped me get my card. I showed ID, and he met me at the door. Honest and very helpful. Thanks!!!

I hadn't been here in over 2 years. It seems that it was not as good as I remember. They also removed a couple of their best salads (Asian and the Waldorf)...sad.
