Brought my toddler, and everyone is so nice and helpful. Always a lovely and delicious experience!
Foods always fresh and delicious, super easy and convenient
Love the fresh fish
This new, “reservation” system is trash.
Showed up at the time it gave us, 60 numbers still ahead of us. There were some obvious no shows. The system is junk, according to the hostess, it’s not a reservation, it just lets them know how many people to anticipate and when you check in, it doesn’t matter what your time was, you’re at the bottom of the waitlist now unless someone with a lower number shows then they bump you down.
“Approximate” time of 8:40, didn’t get seated until 9:40. And the first night they had the blankets for a week long promotion, and they ran out.
The waitlist time means nothing. Literally, has no meaning to the patron. Poor planning on the blanket order too.
Whomever decided to change to this system, should be fired.
I just find it hard to believe that in today's world they can't keep any GF Soy sauce around. I left because sushi is a drag without sauce.
the food is great, the service lacks as the staff aren't so friendly, but the atmosphere is always up beat. the booth chairs are ripped and if you wear shorts or short skirt, you'll actually get a cut on the bottom part of your thigs...
This review is mostly for their reservation system. My wife and I made a reservation on 05/10/2025 for 6:40am via the Kura app. When we arrived around 6:00pm, we waited until 6:30pm to check in at their kiosk. We were #603. When 6:40pm arrived, they were at #550 or so. We didn't get seated until close to 7:30pm. What is the point of ha ing a reservation system if it does not work to reserve a seat? Kura needs to fix this.
New reservation system is stupid. You need to reserve a spot and then you check in to wait even more time. Old system was better because you could be added to the waitlist and then show up close to your seating time.
We reserved a spot for 2:30 and had to check in after when we got here at 2:10. Then we were told it was another hour to hour and a half wait time.
Might as well just not have a reservation app.
Glad they have these stateside now. Very similar to ones in Japan. Some items are different, but overall enjoyable.
Been to a few of these as it is a chain but I really like the one here in Rancho Cucamonga. Great staff and food is so good.

I've been to this location, San Diego, and Brea so far and this one is the worst of the 3. I'm not sure if it's because I got here right as they were opening or what, but the food wasn't that great. The sushi rolls looked sloppy, many of the raw meats were super cold and one that I ordered specifically was partially frozen still. I should have complained to staff, but I have a lot of anxiety in doing that. And the fact that someone had just made that roll and couldn't tell the meat was frozen is just disappointing. I drove almost 2 hours to get here for mediocre sushi. Thank goodness I had some rewards from my last visit so I didn't have to pay the full price, but still. Hopefully I don't get sick from this location. It was otherwise clean and spacious, but I won't be returning here.
Really straightforward sushi place. When you get there, sign in on the tablet in front of the door. Then a host will bring you to a table and ask for your name.
The food was delicious! Service was fast. We really didn’t get too many items from the belt. We ordered so much food, it was freshly prepared, prompt, as well as tasty! Aamir and Maritza were awesome!! Definitely coming back.
Food is great, kids love this place.
Went on a Monday night. Not too busy. It's always an enjoyable time. However the servers need to be a little more welcoming. Other than that, it was a pleasurable experience.
