“We stopped by El Mescalito after hiking the Etiwanda Waterfall, found it on Google, and WOW what a great decision!

My friend and I started with their Café de la Olla, and OMG… it was absolutely amazing rich, aromatic, and hands down the best I’ve ever had! I loved it so much I ended up having two cups.

For food, we shared the Sopes Trio (chicken, beef, and pork) and the Fajitas Trio (shrimp, beef, and chicken), which came with beans, rice, guacamole, and salad everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked.

We also ordered fresh guacamole, and Ramiro made it right in front of us he was amazing! So friendly and full of positive energy, he made the experience even better.

Estephanie took care of us throughout our meal, always making sure we had everything we needed. Super sweet, attentive, and always smiling outstanding service all around!

The restaurant is beautiful with great Latin music, three TVs (I even caught a soccer game while eating ⚽️), and spotless bathrooms, which I always appreciate.

“Originally, I went there to try out their abondiga ‘s Mexican soup. But they hadn’t formed me when I sat down that they had ran out. Apparently it’s very good and very popular so I chose to get the beef taquito appetizer plate, which was very good. It comes with guacamole. Handmade and sour cream arrived at My table in a timely manner. The facility is very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have chips and salsa while you eat. Definitely want to go back and try their Mexican meatball soup but apparently you really need to get there early.🤓👍😋“

“The absolute best Baja style fish tacos available anywhere outside of Mexico (and probably equal to the best ones available there). Legendary flavor. This location does not seem to offer a taco Tuesday deal. The location on Foothill and Benson does, but I think the tacos at this location are slightly better.“

“My friend mentioned The Pozole Place and suggested we should visit and eat there. We went there this morning, April 28th. We were greeted by a very friendly Server. We ordered pork pozole. I had red and he had the green pozole. To be honest, it was the best and tastiest pozole i ever tasted and ate and i was and grew up next to E.L.A. many years ago. The owners were very friendly and so were the severs . It is a Very nice and clean restaurant . i will definitively be going back and i live 23 miles from The Pozole Place.“

“Today was my first visit to Victoria Grill. For the very most part I only like to eat homemade Mexican food but today I found a hidden gem. Thier Torta was by far the best I have ever had, just like homemade it was.

“We El Cerritos wasn't able to park close enough to the Rancho one on Baseline. We decided to drive to the Archibald one instead. We had front row parking close to the restaurant. Right now I need to park close because of hip issues.

When we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly, hostess and our server. She also works at the other El Cerrito on Baseline too.

She took our drink orders right away and brought our drinks quickly.

After a few minutes, she took our order. Honey at their taco Tuesday plate and I had their carne asada plate. Both were good and hot.

I would recommend this place besides the Baseline one too. They are only a few blocks away from each other.“

“today I tried to order my food at 10:30. a sign on the door stated they opened at 6am, google says they open at 10am, but a very grumpy cashier told me very rudely that they wouldnt open until 11am. so I went and waited in my car until the place opened. I went in and ordered my food from said grumpy rude cashier and waited for my order. while I waited I watched her be rude and disdainful to another customer. then I got my order and I asked for hot sauce and she rudely told me they had none today. I said I wouldnt have spent $40 dollars on my food if I had known that and all she did was give me a dirty look and walk away to take a drive thru order. I've been eating at juanitas for 35 yrs at 3 different locations and this was by far the worst customer service I've ever recieved. broken tacos, sloppy burritos that were barely wrapped, no sauce, and a pissy cashier. it'll be a long while before I go back again. you guys obviously need to take some time and do some in house training with staff. as for the cashier; if you don't like your job get a new one. dont take it out on the customer. it's not our fault you didn't want to be at work today.“
