“The staff was awesome, accommodating and friendly. We were seated quickly despite not everyone being there yet, which is nice. The salsa and guacamole was great. Got a three item plate with an enchilada, taquitos and a taco. I could only finish the enchilada and taquitos the portions were so generous. The mezcal mule was bomb, nice and smokey. I'm glad I picked this place to take my relatives from the East Coast who are deprived of good Mexican cuisine.“

Alright y’all… let’s talk about Casa Rubio’s real quick. I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up, but WOW… this place slaps. I’m talking fresh flavors, big portions, and some of the best salsa I’ve had in a LONG time. Like… if I could legally marry that salsa, I would 💍🫣🔥

First off, the ingredients are 👌. Nothing tastes frozen or lazy here (looking at you albertos, aibetos, and all the other alliberto rip-offs). You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. The rice is fluffy, the beans are seasoned just right, and the meat? Juicy and flavorful like they grilled it up just for me. Every bite had me nodding like I just heard a good song 😂🎶

The portions are huge, too. I ordered a plate, thinking I might still be hungry after… nope. That plate fed me and my regrets from the week. They don’t skimp here. And the prices? Honestly, super fair for how much food you get and how good it tastes. You walk out full, happy, and still have a change in your pocket 🙌💸

The staff is super friendly, like genuinely kind and chill. No fake smiles or rushed vibes. They actually checked in to see if I was enjoying my meal and made me feel welcome.

“Place is in the nicer part of town and surprisingly Mexican food was good. Hard to see the place unless your already in the parking lot. I got the al pastor Burrito without rice. It was big and the al pastor was good. Horchata had that cinnamon sprinkled onto of it which really kicks it up a notch. I'd come back. Just wish they had lengua or tripas.“

“We decided to try Senor Baja based on an Instagram post about this place. We ordered 10 tacos which included their signature Ensenada style fish taco and the carne asada. We also ordered their chips and salsa. All in cost us about 60 bucks. Each taco hovers around $4.50 on up. A little pricey but portions were good and food tasted great! The fish taco was very flavorful and batter was on point. Order came out with the wrong size chips and salsa that was 7 bucks, but after asking about it, they provided the right size. Also came out with the wrong salsa too, which again they corrected. The carne asada was also good. Overall a great experience and the family and I enjoyed it.“

“My friend mentioned The Pozole Place and suggested we should visit and eat there. We went there this morning, April 28th. We were greeted by a very friendly Server. We ordered pork pozole. I had red and he had the green pozole. To be honest, it was the best and tastiest pozole i ever tasted and ate and i was and grew up next to E.L.A. many years ago. The owners were very friendly and so were the severs . It is a Very nice and clean restaurant . i will definitively be going back and i live 23 miles from The Pozole Place.“

“Went to this location a week ago and did not disappoint!! Had the two hard taco shredded beef with sour cream added plate and I absolutely enjoyed it to the max!!!! Pepe’s is a great spot to eat and definitely recommend this location!! Two beautiful ladies helped me and I wish I got their names to recognize how great they were!!!! “Our absolute most favorite mexican food in Rancho! Start with a Cadillac marg and tableside guac with their homemade salsa! We love their bacon wrapped shrimp, camerones a la plancha, shrimp and fish tacos are fire! (dont forget the extra Chipotle sauce!) Kids love the mini bean and cheese burritos on their homemade flour tortillas! Aside from the BEST food, the service is even better! We love El Cerrito!!“

“today I tried to order my food at 10:30. a sign on the door stated they opened at 6am, google says they open at 10am, but a very grumpy cashier told me very rudely that they wouldnt open until 11am. so I went and waited in my car until the place opened. I went in and ordered my food from said grumpy rude cashier and waited for my order. while I waited I watched her be rude and disdainful to another customer. then I got my order and I asked for hot sauce and she rudely told me they had none today. I said I wouldnt have spent $40 dollars on my food if I had known that and all she did was give me a dirty look and walk away to take a drive thru order. I've been eating at juanitas for 35 yrs at 3 different locations and this was by far the worst customer service I've ever recieved. broken tacos, sloppy burritos that were barely wrapped, no sauce, and a pissy cashier. it'll be a long while before I go back again. you guys obviously need to take some time and do some in house training with staff. as for the cashier; if you don't like your job get a new one. dont take it out on the customer. it's not our fault you didn't want to be at work today.“
